    Improvement of methods and algorithms for calculating energy indicators of traction power supply system with adjustable devices

    The calculation of the performance indicators of the traction power supply system in steady-state modes is focused on solving a wide range of tasks related to the choice of parameters of the power equipment of traction substations, the placement of linear equipment, the cross section of the contact suspension, the comparison of options for technical and economic indicators. Currently, the appearance of various regulated devices in the traction power supply system necessitates the improvement of calculation methods and algorithms used in various software complexes. In this paper, the issues of constructing substitution schemes for modeling the operation of the traction power supply system in steady-state modes, taking into account the devices for automatic switching on and off of the backup converter unit of the traction substation and the accumulation of electricity. The corresponding substitution schemes and fragments of calculation algorithms that take into account the characteristics and operating modes of these devices are presented. The use of the proposed substitution schemes allows us to take into account in the calculations the difference in the external characteristics of the converter units, to assess the compliance of the automation settings with the level of electric traction load and the effect of the device on the voltage level on the substation tires and in the contact network, the load capacity of traction substations, and for the accumulation device, taking into account the charging and discharge characteristics, to additionally assess the impact on the effectiveness of regenerative braking. The proposed algorithms of the devices are designed to improve the methods of calculating the indicators of the traction power supply system. The paper proposes an improved method for calculating the indicators of the traction power supply system, based on simultaneous traction and electrical calculations, based on the database of calculations performed for various conditions of electric rolling stock on the railway section.

    Theoretical study of electromagnetic processes inverter based on thyristors and igbt-transistors of an electric train of an alternating current in the mode of regenerative braking

    In this article, the authors have studied the electromagnetic processes of an inverter based on thyristors and IGBT transistors of an AC electric train in the regenerative braking mode. To accomplish this task, a method was used to compose instantaneous replacement schemes and systems of differential equations corresponding to a certain time interval of the rectified voltage diagram and the currents of the inverter arms. On the basis of the study were given the disadvantages of thyristor inverter and the advantages of transistor.

    Method of contactless diagnostics of the position of wires of the contact network of electrified railways

    The contact network is one of the most vulnerable elements of the traction power supply system. The prevailing number of events in the power supply sector is connected with the contact network. The article is devoted to the method of contactless diagnostics of the contact network of electrified Railways. The paper proposes to use a method for diagnostics of the contact network based on optical elements, followed by digital data processing and calculation of geometric parameters. This method is characterized by a low cost of the device in contrast to analogues and high accuracy of calculation. The analysis and selection of optimal installation locations for optical devices is given. The method of contactless diagnostics of wires of the contact network of electrified Railways is presented.

    Algorithm for testing asynchronous traction motorsrailway rolling stock on applying the method mutual load

    The article shows the relevance of applying the method of mutual test load of asynchronous traction motors of railway rolling stock. On the basis of the recommendations of existing standards in testing of asynchronous motors is made up of a sequence of acceptance testing of asynchronous traction motors provided in the form of an algorithm. In line with the scheme proposed for testing procedures on the use of the basic equipment of the circuit. The analysis of the main types of tests, the comparison of the classical means for testing the functionality of the inverters eliminated the need for additional DC sources in determining the resistance of the stator windings, additional brake and step-down transformers during short circuit and experience to carry out simultaneous testing of two induction motors increased speed at the stand of mutual load.

    Rectifier-inverter converter of an electric locomotive based on igbt transistors as a way to increase the capacity of railway sections

    The purpose of this article is to analyze the voltage drop in the contact network caused by poor-quality operation of an alternating current electric locomotive when passing heavy trains. Heavy-haul traffic is considered today as a valid and necessary tool for increasing weight norms and increasing the throughput of railway sections. The article provides statistics on the passage of heavy and connected trains on the Krasnoyarsk railway for 2019 and 2020. For the effective use of heavy traffic, it is necessary to solve a number of problems, one of which is to reduce the voltage in the overhead network when passing heavy trains, this negatively affects the speed of the train along the haul, the conditions for cooling the power equipment of the electric locomotive deteriorate, etc. As a result of the analysis of the operation of the thyristor rectifier-inverter converter, a number of disadvantages were revealed. The reason for the low power factor of the electric locomotive lies in the use of an outdated element base based on thyristors, their closure is carried out only in the next voltage half-cycle, long-term switching and a large opening angle of thyristors leads to a significant reactive current in the contact network. Based on the analysis the voltage losses at the current collector, it was concluded that it is necessary to reduce the duration of the switching process of the arms of the rectifier-inverter converter, in which a short circuit occurs in the secondary winding of the traction transformer. An alternative version of the converter based on fully controlled semiconductor devices - IGBT transistors is proposed. The ability to open and close at any time of such elements allows you to minimize the phase angle and increase the power factor. Due to the almost instantaneous switching of transistors, the distortion in the contact network is minimized.

    Application algorithms of computer vision for оbject detection on the railway crossing

    Development of innovative methods and hardware gives additional opportunities for the solution of various tasks. For example, innovations allow increasing safety in places of crossing highways and railroads by means of detection methods of objects in the required control zone. The big risk of emergencies in places as a railway crossing is caused by a high speed and the inertial movement of the train. In this connection, there is no possibility of timely braking of the train and prevention of collision with an obstacle. At the present time, the biggest percent of accident rate belongs to uncontrollable railway crossings. On such railway crossings completely are absent the blocking means or the warning technical tools. Controlled railway crossings are equipped with the blocking means for the automobiles. Also, they are equipped with the systems of video supervision. But the current systems of video supervision have no function of informing the driver of the train in an emergency. Therefore, to priorities belongs development of technical requirements for a hardware and software system. The automatic analysis of a dynamic situation in borders of a railway crossing, transfer to the driver of the approaching train of the required information belongs to priorities too. This work describes briefly main algorithms of computer vision which allow distinguishing any object on a railway crossing. The example of algorithmic modeling of detection of contours and allocation of a background on video has been considered in this work. Received results led to the conclusion about a necessary adaptation of modern computer vision algorithms for the solution of a detection problem of various objects with the required accuracy and in various working conditions.

    Method of search of optimal and most near to it transportation routes of cargo

    The method of practical realization of decision of the special case of a transport task is examined. It allows to find optimal and the set amount of routes the nearest to it on the size of criterion of optimality. A method provides large flexibility in the decision of questions of planning of optimal organization of vehicular process at making, both strategic plans and operative plans in case of origin of situations of type "accident", "congestion", or other force-majeure circumstances.

    Minimizing the search time for failures in receiver end devices of tonal track circuit on station

    The article deals with the possibility of applying diagnostic algorithms, taking into account the complexity of the examination, applied to a specific problem of searching for damage in receiver end of station's tonal track circuit. The article presents calculated conditional probabilities, diagnostic weights, particular and general diagnostic values of examinations, taking into account the time of movement and work by an electrician. Based on the calculations performed, a conditional diagnostic algorithm has been compiled, taking into account the complexity of the following for the equipment of the relay end of the tonal rail circuit. The effect of using this algorithm is shown. The results of the work given in the article can be used in the maintenance of automation systems of existing railways.

    Improvement of computing procedures of the signalsanalysis in the traction electrical network

    The analysis of electric energy quality with a required by modern standards accuracy demands applying of digital signals processing. At measurement, one of the main operations is finding signals correlation. Operations performance over digital representations of the signals containing a large points number requires many of computing resources that results in importance of a fast correlation calculation problem. The well-known methods of correlation calculation is applying a range of algorithms: transformation correlation to cyclic convolution, calculation cyclic convolution through FFT and others. These algorithms are well-studied, however their combination make possible additional optimization of algorithms. In paper we offer the method of computing procedure optimization for signals correlation calculation based on operations reduction when performing a sequence two Fourier transformations. Using another way of placing the calculations results we can reduce a data rearranging operations number. Depending on computing architecture, the offered method allows to accelerate calculations to 20 - 25%.

The aim of the work is to justify the need to take into account the complexity of the survey when compiling these algorithms. The order of compiling the diagnostic algorithm is shown, conditional probabilities, diagnostic weights, private and general diagnostic values are calculated. On the basis of the calculations performed, algorithms for diagnosing taking into account the complexity of the examination in receiver of the tonal track circuit was compiled. The work results presented in the article can be used for technical maintenance of automation systems of operating railways.

    Software inertia compensation for industrial temperature sensors in programmable controllers

    The paper deals with the problem of the presence of thermal inertia in thermoelectric converters of general industrial design, used to measure temperature in most technological installations with an ambient temperature above 200 ° C. The aim of the study is to develop an algorithm for predicting the temperature of the environment with known thermal characteristics of the temperature sensor and to implement the algorithm directly in a general industrial programmable logic controller (PLC). As the main method, the work uses the method of mathematical modeling and description of the object in transfer functions and in the form of differential equations. The work uses a previously developed engineering technique for determining the thermal inertia time of industrial sensors, based on a single disturbance and an assessment of the dynamic characteristics of an object. On the basis of the research and mathematical modeling, algorithms for predicting the temperature of the medium by the parameters of the thermal inertia of the temperature sensor and the rate of change of the thermocouple signal have been developed and implemented. The implementation of the algorithms in the TIA Portal environment based on the Siemens Simatic S7-300 PLC using the PID Control library is proposed.

    A problem-oriented evolutionary algorithm for optimizing train control modes

    The problem of optimizing train driving modes continues to be relevant for a long time, despite a large number of scientific research and development in this subject area. This is due both to the general complexity of the implementation of the technological process of running the train, and to parametric uncertainty and significant variations in the parameters of the control object itself and the external environment. Well-known methods for calculating energy-optimal train driving modes (calculus of variations, the maximum principle, dynamic programming) and auto-driving systems based on them assume some simplifications of the original problem, and, as a result, implement quasi-optimal control in practice. In this regard, the development of methods for searching for the global extremum of a functional defined on the set of permissible trajectories of a train as a dynamic system is both theoretically and practically a significant task. The aim of the work is to create a computationally efficient metaheuristic algorithm for searching for energy-optimal control as a global extremum of the objective function, the values of which are calculated using a reference model of the control object. The authors have developed a problem-oriented evolutionary algorithm for calculating the optimal control of train movement based on the theory of random search. Its features are the proposed specialized operators of local random search, taking into account the specifics of the control object as a multi-mode system; combined procedures of local and global optimization based on the concept of a multi-island population algorithm with superpopulation, as well as a method of selection (selection) of promising options based on the clustering algorithm. Computational experiments have shown good convergence of the algorithm and repeatability of the calculation results. Based on the solutions obtained, a train running time controller can be implemented that implements asymptotically optimal control.

    We consider the concept and architectural aspects of the development of the corporate information sys-tem for monitoring and resources accounting. The relevance of improving automated systems is due to the intensification of the use of modern information technologies in industry. The aim of the work is to select the architecture of the distributed information system for monitoring and resources accounting (hereinafter - the system), which ensures prompt decision-making in the management of technological objects. We consider the current trends in the development of information systems and concepts that provide the requirements established for systems of this class and purpose. The system is based on previously designed prototype that has been put into operation, and differs from it in new solutions that allow to increase mobility and fault tolerance.     Management efficiency locomotive maintenance and repair

    The article presents the results of the development and implementation of a method for controlling the technological processes of repairing locomotives based on network planning. The methodology allows you to track online bottlenecks during current repairs and reduce the duration of the critical path by varying the time indicators of events and works, using the aggregate-nodal repair method, redistributing resources between critical and non-critical works. The developed methodology is based on the adjustment of basic repair networks, taking into account the workload of process equipment and repair personnel, the availability of spare parts and materials, the need for unscheduled work during the planned installation of a particular locomotive for repair. This approach was implemented within the framework of the automated control system (ACS) «Network Schedule» and provides control and adjustment of the implementation of technological operations according to the indicators of technological preparation of repairs. An algorithm has been developed for determining a generalized performance indicator when assessing the quality of functioning of an automated maintenance and repair control system for a locomotive in service locomotive depots.
