Calculation of distribution load between rolling bodiesin the roller bearing of the traction motor

The article proposes a method of calculation the load between the rolling bodies of the swinging bearings and the bearings of the traction motor, which makes it possible to have the value of the radial clearance in the bearing, as well as the radial movement of the inner rings relative to the outer one. To determine the load perceived by the most loaded rollers, a solution of the equilibrium equation for internal elements is proposed using simple iterations. The implementation of the method is implemented in the Matlab software package. Using the proposed method, the load distribution between the rollers in the traction motor of the VL11K electric locomotive was calculated. To determine the load acting on the bearing, the “Sarga-Subic” section was selected, which has a mountain profile.

Optimization of standards of repair runs in locomotives series 2(3,4)es5k on the basis of failures of the traction motor

System of preventive maintenance and maintenance of the operable condition of the traction rolling stock. The subject of a global study of failures of traction motors in the event of a breakdown on the territory of the service locomotive depot «Dalnevostochnoye» and «Primorskoye» for 2019. The purpose of the study is to determine the possible norms of overhaul runs for the considered node in order to achieve the optimal number of locomotive calls for unscheduled repairs. In the work, the correct law of distribution of traction motor (TED) failures, the determination of the Sturgess, Pearson coefficients and other methods of mathematical statistics and the theory of justification of systems. The article defines an element that limits the norms of overhaul runs of traction motors; the theoretical distribution of traction motor failures due to a decrease in the insulation resistance of its windings has been obtained. As part of the study, the optimization of the norms of overhaul runs was carried out according to the conditions for conducting maintenance regarding the traction motor. As a result of the analysis of the causes of failures, it was found that more cases of placing locomotives for unscheduled repairs occur in the first mileage interval of locomotives due to poor quality diagnostics at TR-1 upon measuring the resistance of the insulation windings. Most of the failures occurring in the first period of operation are not associated with a change in the reliability of the considered node. When considering two normal peaks of failures, falling on the operating time intervals 14-21 and 28-35, the necessity of optimizing the norms of overhaul runs is determined. When considering two normal peaks of failures, falling on the operating time intervals 14-21 and 28-35, the necessity of optimizing the norms of overhaul runs is determined. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using the option of optimizing the norms of overhaul runs to adjust the norms of maintenance and repair periods within specific depots.

Comparison of models of currentdistribution in dc contact lines

The contact line is a special kind of power overhead line with multiple electrical connections of wires, which form a complex topology of the linear electrical circuit. Analytical models simplify the real topology of the contact line and it limits their functional application. It is possible to take into account the topology of contact line when using tools of computer simulation, but it entails complicating the computational algorithms of the model. The aim of this article is to determine the conditions for the application of current distribution models and the development prospects in this area. The article describes the existing models for calculating the current distribution in DC contact line: a model of natural current distribution, linear analytical models, model with an infinite number of droppers, a model with a direct application of Kirchhoff's circuit laws in matrix form, and a finite element model. The article contains the main provisions and calculation capabilities of each model. Contact line KS-250-3 acts as a calculation catenary for the comparison of current distribution models. You can use the results of the article to select the optimal design distribution model for the design of the contact line, thermal analysis, current-carrying capacity calculation, identification and elimination of «weak point».

The wave processes study in the overhead system and power lines

According to electric calculations, the overhead system and power lines being the part of the railway power supply are distributed parameters circuits. Wave processes in the overhead system have a negative impact on the power supply lines, laid in the vicinity of the railway, and increase the power losses in the traction power supply system. For the study of wave processes the method of mathematical modeling of non-sinusoidal signals transmission to the uniform two-wire distributed parameters line is provided. The mathematical model is based on the well-known line differential equations (telegraph equations) using Fourier series. The power line is a three-wire line. The paper presents an algorithm to bring the power line equations to the form of two-wire line equations. To assess the correctness of the mathematical model the research was carried out on the physical model of the line. Using the mathematical model there were given the findings of distributed parameters circuits various modes. The proposed method of mathematical modeling of different shape signals transmission to the distributed parameters line adequately reflects the phenomena occurring in the line and can be used for the analysis of electromagnetic processes both in the overhead system and power lines.

Automation of the calculation of the distribution of electrical quantities in the system of three conductors with account their mutual influence

The article presents the equivalent circuit of three conductors, taking into account their mutual influence. The equivalent circuit contains the resistance and inductance of each conductor, the conductivity and the capacitance of their insulation relative to the earth, as well as the mutual inductances, conductivities and capacitances of the insulation between the conductors. The mathematical foundations of calculating the distribution of electrical quantities in the system of three conductors are considered, taking into account their mutual influence. An iterative incremental model of the software life cycle was chosen as the basis for automating this calculation, taking into account existing approaches to software development. Specific features of specialized software are specified. A structural scheme of the software complex and a block diagram of the calculation algorithm are proposed. The algorithm is based on the iterative calculation of currents and voltages for three conductors, taking into account their mutual influence. In accordance with the chosen model of the life cycle of the software, three versions of software with different functionality have been developed. This allowed us to effectively organize the processes of testing, debugging and implementation. As a result, the software complex has a window interface containing four tabs and allowing to enter the initial data for the calculation, display the results in the form of graphs and tables. For saving the results of calculations, a connection with the database has been implemented.

Method of diagnosing the condition of the commutationof collector dc motors

The article deals with the problem of diagnosing the technical condition of the collector-brush unit of DC motors. The topicality of this problem in the engines operating on the railway transport, which are in the most severe operating conditions, is particularly noted. These studies are aimed at improving the reliability of diagnosing the technical condition of the collector-brush unit through the use of a new method of diagnosing the condition of collector DC motors’ commutation. The proposed method of diagnosis is based on a new principle of processing diagnostic information about the spark pulses under the brushes. The article presents the histograms of the distribution of the pulses' intensity of different sections of the armature winding. The research conducted an experiment using a digital control device that allows to identify and digitize a useful diagnostic signal from multipolar brushes with a high sampling rate and transfer it to a computer. Analysis of the experiment’s results showed that the average value of the pulse’s area increases with increasing the spark’s intensity. Nevertheless, severe sparking at the collector leads to the law of distribution becomes double-modal, and as a result, dramatically increases the standard deviation of the values of the pulses’ areas. Described effect makes misinformation in the diagnosis procedure using the parameters of the laws of distribution of the spark’s intensity. The proposed method of diagnosis allows to eliminate this effect. The copyright for a new method of diagnosing is protected by a patent.

External power supply system optimization by choosing a progressive voltage class considering the total life cycle of a gas field

Using the example of operating gas fields in the Western Siberia, the issue of the correct choice of voltage class, considering all the periods of gas fields life cycle, appears. Wrong choice of the voltage class leads to braking development of a gas field. Gas field technological scheme during the each period of the life cycle is considered, the dynamics of the electrical load is estimated. The analysis of existing methods of choosing the voltage class is carried out and their flaws are revealed. Mathematical models of the optimal voltage class calculation and discounted costs calculation are developed using the theory of experiment planning. An algorithm of choosing the optimal voltage is developed and the distribution and supply networks of the external power supply system of the existing gas fields in Western Siberia are investigated. Progressive voltage class for power supply and distribution network is proposed. Conclusions are made.
