Scientific and technical journal «Izvestia Transsiba» (Journal of Transsib Railway Studies) covers the problems and prospects of the development of rail transport in the following areas: railway rolling stock, train traction and electrification; railway track, survey and design of railways; transport and transport-technological systems of the country, its regions and cities, organization of production in transport; improvement of industrial heat systems, heat engineering and thermal equipment; power plants and power systems; energy systems and complexes; automation and management of technological processes and production.
