22-32To increase the speed of the cargo delivery, freight wagons are being developed, intended for the design speed of 140 km/h. One of the important parts of a freight wagon is the bogie, the design of which determines the wagon dynamic behaviour. The bogie of such wagons uses a frame of a rigid design, which is susceptible to antisymmetric loads. The analysis of standards has shown that the strength test during designing a rigid bogie frame under the impact of maximum antisymmetric forces that may occur in operation when a wheel derails is not required, which can lead to a residual antysymmetric deformation of the bogie frame. Theoretical research is performed to estimate the impact of the residual antisymmetric deformation on traffic safety using the wheelset safety factor against derailment. The research results have shown that the bogie frame residual deformation leads to a load redistribution on the wheelset axle journal, which, in terms of the impact on the wheelset safety factor against derailment, is similar to the wagon rolling motion. The wagon rolling motion affects the reduction of the wheelset safety factor against derailment to a greater extent than oscillations during pitching and bouncing. Thus, the permission to operate wagons with the antisymmetric residual deformation of the bogie frame without its non-destructive testing can lead to traffic safety violation. In order to ensure the traffic safety of wagons with bogies having rigid frames and reduce economic losses at the design stage, bogies strength depending on the action of antisymmetric forces should be estimated. -

55-65The article presents the results of the study of the influence of deviations of certain design parameters of bogie from established normative values on a relative offset from the crests of wheel pair in mezhdurelsovom space of railway transport. Such deviations occur in the process of the gradual wear of moving parts in real-world conditions of rolling stock and lead to a change of kinematic parameters of bogie. An analysis of dependence of lateral displacement relative to the wheelset of railway track from the difference between the diameters of the tapered surfaces of wheelset, skating from lack of alignment of wheelsets and difference coefficients rigidity of springs of bogie. The proposed mathematical model allows to not only diagnose technical condition of wagon bogies during their movements on the straight section of railway track, but also forecast the rolling stock maintenance dates the whole on the basis of position measurements of wheel pairs regarding railway track. -

139-148The paper considers the use of simulation modeling in the reengineering of technological processes for repairing rolling stock units on the example of repairing a bogie model 18-578 of an open-top car. The most time-consuming sub-process of repairing the bolster of this bogie was considered as the object of reengineering. Three options for reengineering of this subprocess were considered, implying a complete replacement of the technological equipment currently in use at repair operations (positions) with more efficient positions of the subprocess. To substantiate the choice of the most preferable reengineering option, the values of such indicators of the functioning of the subprocess under consideration as its productivity per shift (throughput), the load factor of the resources used at the repair positions, the volume of work in progress at the end of the shift, the number of workers employed in production and the costs associated with the possible purchase of new technological equipment. Simulation modeling of the functioning of the considered sub-process of bogie bolster repair was carried out on the basis of the methods of the queuing theory. The construction of simulation models and their assessment of the above indicators were carried out in the Arena RockWell Software environment. When developing simulation models for each of the possible options for reengineering a subprocess, the discipline of its organization and maintenance was taken into account. In the article, for each of the reengineering options, the calculated quantitative estimates of the listed indicators are presented, obtained using the corresponding developed simulation models. The use of these assessments reduces the risks in the development and subsequent implementation of organizational and technical solutions associated with the modernization of the considered technological sub-process of repair of the bolster of a gondola car bogie.
