11-22The article presents a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of automated systems for recording the work parameters of autonomous locomotives. The relevance of the use of such systems is due to the prevention of defects at the stage of identifying possible malfunctions during the operation of locomotives during the inter-repair periods. So the used systems of parametric diagnostics of power plants of autonomous locomotives are considered. Also, for comparison, the experience of foreign research on the use of a diesel locomotive monitoring system is presented. Despite the fact that the existing automated systems for registering the parameters of diesel locomotives have a wide range of functionality that allows you to obtain typical dependences of the power of a diesel generator set (DSU) on temperature and pressure, these systems do not take into account the peculiarities of the flow of in-cylinder processes that can significantly affect the power of the DSU. The article proposes a method for monitoring and adjusting the power of the diesel engine during operation by registering the operating modes of the equipment and determining the actual power of the diesel engine by expanding the range of diagnostic parameters by installing additional sensors for registering measured values for the accuracy of monitoring and tuning the diesel engine and making timely decisions on maintenance and repair of locomotives. A block diagram of the recorder of operating modes with the location of sensors for measuring informative parameters and a diagram of connecting the recorder to the power circuit using the example of a shunting diesel locomotive CHME3 is shown. Software has been developed that can be additionally installed in the standard automated system for registering the parameters of the operation of the CHME3 diesel locomotive with subsequent data processing. -

27-34Analysis of change of pressure in the main reservesof locomotive based on the results of train tests
The subject of this article is the pressure in the main reservoir of the locomotive. The purpose of the study is to obtain and analyze unique data on pressure reduction in the main reservoir of the locomotive. When carrying out train tests developed by the author of the train brake diagnostic system, pressure changes in the main reservoir of the locomotive were obtained depending on the driver's control effects in real time. This was achieved by installing a sensor measuring the pressure in the nutrient line of the locomotive and processing data using the software and hardware complex diagnostics system for the brake network of the train. In work methods of the mathematical analysis, a method of experiment, an analytical method are applied. As a result of the work, pressure reduction curves are described in accordance with the processes occurring in the main tanks of the locomotive during train operation. An explanation of the flow of pneumatic processes in accordance with the specifics of the braking equipment of the rolling stock of railways. An experiment was carried out to measure the density of the brake network of a train by a machinist and a system for diagnosing the brake network of a train, and the convergence of results was presented. Also, quantitative indicators of the measurement rate by the standard and proposed method are determined. The research results were applied to improve the methods and means of diagnosing the brake network of a train, modeling pneumatic processes of the train's brake system. Pressure reduction curves have their own gas-dynamic nature, which allows to determine the mode of operation of the braking system, as well as diagnose faults in the brake network of the train, such as shutting off end valves, leaks along the way. -

44-55During the operation of electric rolling stock current collectors, processes occur that lead to a decrease in the mechanical performance of current-carrying structures. Monitoring of the parameters of the operation of current collectors and the loads acting on them at present is difficult due to the fact that the electric potential between its elements and the body of the electric rolling stock corresponds to the operating voltage in the overhead contact line. The use of various methods of separating the data transmission medium and galvanic isolation of the sensor power supply is associated with some disadvantages, the main of which is the significant dimensions and mass of devices of this type. For research purposes, autonomous power supplies and information storage devices have been developed and used, which do not pretend to be used in the design of serial current collectors. The article describes a device designed to solve a variety of diagnostic tasks, using the principle of free energy utilization to power sensors, converters and a data transmission system to external media. Studies of the energy parameters of the electromagnetic field power selection modules and mechanical vibrations accompanying the operation of the current collector have been carried out. The main parameters of the piezoelectric module for power supply of a small-sized device for collecting diagnostic information are determined. The proposed approach should ensure the autonomy of the device when moving an electric rolling stock with a raised pantograph. At the same time, there is no dependence on the illumination or speed of movement characteristic of other alternative power sources. The layout solutions for the prototype of the device are presented, on the basis of which it is possible to build design documentation for the organization of the production of the installation batch. The role of the device in the system of functioning of controlled current collectors is described, as well as the change in the technology of their operation. -

Patent search of electric power sources for freight wagons has been carried out, their features have been determined. The author's design of the power supply device is proposed to diagnose the technical condition of railway car on the trip.
