31-40Currently operating on the network of Russian Railways passenger electric locomotives, while driving trains on different difficulty stages, not equally utilize the available capacity and work with different energy performance. The purpose of the work is to consider the energy efficiency of passenger electric locomotives when driving trains on certain sections of Railways and to determine ways to improve their energy performance. To achieve this goal, the work of passenger locomotives EP1 and EP2K on the sections of the mid-Siberian railway was analyzed, the average mass of passenger trains and their speed were determined, the values of the power realized by electric locomotives in operation were calculated, as well as the rational values of the power and mass of locomotives needed for driving passenger trains on the considered sections of the track, and a comparative assessment of the possible operation of electric locomotives with rational values of power and mass with the operated locomotives EP1 and EP2K. On the basis of the comparative analysis, the conclusion is made about the available reserves for increasing the energy indicators of passenger electric locomotives in certain sections of the Russian Railways, such as the operation of locomotives with rational values of power and mass required to provide modern passenger transportation, and the method of determining the energy efficiency of electric locomotives, which allows without calculating the traction and energy characteristics to estimate the cost of electricity for traction of trains. -

76-81The method of practical realization of decision of the special case of a transport task is examined. It allows to find optimal and the set amount of routes the nearest to it on the size of criterion of optimality. A method provides large flexibility in the decision of questions of planning of optimal organization of vehicular process at making, both strategic plans and operative plans in case of origin of situations of type "accident", "congestion", or other force-majeure circumstances. -

90-100Rapid globalization and growing transportation volumes require the implementation of modern technologies and innovative solutions. Therefore, it is essential to effectively plan cargo transportation using various modes of transport. Freight transportation involves moving cargo from the point of production to the point of consumption. Objective: Freight transportation is driven by the need to continue and complete the production of industrial and agricultural products in circulation, after which they become ready for consumption. The proposed methodology for improving cargo delivery will ensure the calculation of all types of shipments, and will also reduce cargo delivery time. Method: The application of this methodology will help define the decision-making process for various plant processes. The proposed model is based on mathematical modeling of process dependencies for effective decision-making. To test the methodology for standardizing transportation times, it is necessary to organize them taking into account the delays of each technological process. The main reason for implementing standards is to expedite cargo delivery and properly distribute penalties between the railway and customers for late delivery. Scope of application of the results: Ultimately, effective freight flow management in rail transport requires a comprehensive approach aimed at improving all aspects of operation, which in turn will contribute to increased freight turnover and the development of the transport system. The effectiveness of this methodology allows for decision planning by studying factors affecting waiting times for ongoing technological processes to improve freight delivery. This model reduces wagon waiting times and allows for monitoring technological processes. -

107-114Modern requirements for the organization of the transportation process depend on technological and infrastructural aspects. Traditional approaches to regulating car flows, including using methods to minimize empty runs of rolling stock, lead to the loss of profitable options for JSC Russian Railways to interact with customers in terms of organizing exports and imports with subsequent sale of these goods (products) in Russia. The technology of transporting coal in «Open Top» containers with back loading with imported cargo has advantages arising from foreign and domestic experience in implementing such transportation. This article focuses on the economic aspects of the technology under consideration, including reflecting the specifics and prospects for the development of container transportation of coal. A comparative analysis of economic indicators for several options for transporting coal is performed. For customers of railway transport and JSC Russian Railways, the feasibility of organizing freight transportation in «Open Top» containers with the formation of closed routes with back loading with imported cargo to an intermediate station is substantiated. It is noted that the savings of the closed ring route of coal and anhydrous calcium chloride in containers reach from 30% to 65% compared to the use of universal gondola cars. Given the current conditions of congestion of the railway infrastructure, the use of «Open Top» containers for the transportation of various goods is a key advantage of ring routes. This is important to consider when developing export-import relations with friendly countries.
