    The uninterrupted state evaluation of backward traction circuit in heavyweight traffic conditions

    In the article there is the increase of rail circuits work stability in conditions of heavyweight traffic for AC traction sections. There is a coordinate plane graph of backward traction circuit base diagnostic states in the paper. We analyzed the results gained in the researching and suggested the way to coordinate rail shunt location and to evaluate the insulation resistance in backward traction circuit.

    The probability calculating of failure categories of the locomotive equipment reliability

    The article discusses the specifics of the locomotive reliability indicators use in the Russian Railways. Examples of locomotive reliability indicators and the indicators used in the Russian Railways in the conclusion of service contracts, including under the life cycle contract are given. A method of transition from national standard to Russian Railways has been proposed. It is concluded that these procedures can be automated.

    The effect of longitudinal sleeper unstiffnes of the railway to the stability of the movement of electric locomotives

    It is shown that dynamic systems, «rolling stock - way» due to the unevenness of the path on length should be described by ordinary differential equations with variable coefficients, the method of analyzing differential equations with constant, variable and random coefficients describing the movement of electric locomotive nodes when they move along an uneven path. In the transition to a new paradigm, we can talk about areas of dynamic instability, which in the case of simple parametric resonances develop near critical frequencies, but this is not one specific point, but a zone that expands with increasing coefficients of parametric excitation. In addition, the presence of friction in the system does not guarantee the limitation of resonant amplitudes. The effect of parametric arousal factors on the width of the dynamic instability zone has been established. There are many other features in the behavior of differential equations with variable coefficients, so it is impossible to replace the action of unevenness with some equivalent geometric irregularity, since at this moment there is no exact solution to the problem with which to compare the results of approximate mathematical models.

    Algorithmic solution of thermal control of the technical condition of rail tanks

    The author considered the problem solving of control of the boiler hermeticity of railway tanks using contemporary control methods. The author described the activities and equipment which are necessary for assessment of technical state of large-volume vessels. The implementing algorithms of step-by-step operations for monitoring and analyzing the results processing are proposed. The proposed method of technical condition of the railway tanks boilers is based on the use of serial thermal imaging equipment, which allows to reduce the economic costs of monitoring and improve the working culture of the flaw inspector.

    Defining for rms-velosity of rolling stock

    The article deals with such important concept as the resonance to three cases: when rolling stock is described by a system of linear differential equations with constant coefficients, when the mathematical model of rolling stock represented a nonlinear system of differential equations, and when in the latter we take into account the multiplicative disturbance from railway, namely its non-equal-elasticity between sleepers. In this case, speak properly and correctly is not about a particular value of RMS-velocity, but on parametric instability areas.

    To the estimation of the locomotive power

    The article considers phenomenological and modelling approach to researching of interaction of a deformable wheel and a plane of support, their advantages and disadvantages are mentioned. In the context of phenomenological approach the five methods of locomotive tangent tractive force calculation were considered. There certainly must be pseudo-creeping to let locomotive tangent tractive force do work and change the kinetic energy of a train in the point of wheel and rail contact. Locomotive tractive force experts calculate the power as product of the locomotive tangent tractive force and the velocity of translational motion of a train, although in fact the velocity of the point of force application must be assumed. It is applied to a wheel pair, then the velocity of this point must be used to calculate the locomotive power. According to this fact the locomotive power is found several tens of times reduced.

    Influence of technical characteristics and their definitions on the stability of the movement of empty rolling stock

    Based on the analysis of the empty rolling stock on the Krasnoyarsk and East Siberian Railways, the technical parameters that have a significant impact on the unloading of the wheel of the first wheel pair in the course of movement are determined. The design features of wagons influencing the safety coefficient of train traffic are considered. Statistical processing of these gatherings, according to the materials of official investigations, revealed a number of interesting features. One of them is non-normalized total gaps in the sliders along the diagonals of the wagons. This fact in the movement of empty car causes misalignment of the body, which in turn leads to a redistribution of the loads acting on the spring kits on the sides of carts and wagons. The influence of elastic suspension parameters (height, spring break) on the redistribution of loads acting on the sides of the trolley is considered. The misalignment of the body of empty wagons, especially wagons with a sufficiently small mass of unsprung parts and a high center of gravity, leads to a significant reduction in the safety factor. The calculation of the transverse guiding forces acting at the point of contact of the wheel and rail, as well as their effect on the unloading of the wheel. It is revealed that the body skew leads to a significant increase in lateral force, which affects the stability of the empty rolling stock.

    Improving of controlling indexes on dc railway stock

    In the article the possibilities of improving the adjustment properties and technical characteristics of electric rolling stock with collector traction motors are considered. Semiconductor devices can improve the smoothness of the traction motors start-up due to a more even voltage increase, smooth regulation of the field current in the traction and braking modes. Variants of simplified power circuits of eight-axis direct current electric locomotives with a minimum number of switching electrical devices have been developed, allowing to reduce weight and size of the equipment, increase the reliability of power circuits operations. Circuit solutions for protecting the wheelset of an electric locomotive from boxing and skidding by enhancing the traction motors field are considered. The role of semiconductor converters in the improvement of rolling stock with a combined and dual power is noted. The ways to improve the efficiency of electric braking by collector traction motors are listed. The necessity of using adaptive microprocessor control systems for semiconductor converters for expanding their functional capabilities and realizing optimal parameters of direct current rolling stock is noted.

    Justification of scheduler slopes the ballast technological process modernization railway track

    The design of the working body planner slopes for liner-tamping-finishing machine VPO-3000. Based on the analysis of existing designs of planners ball-fin track machines (VPO-3000,SZP-600R,PB-01,SS-3,ELB-3MK,ELB-4K),finding to operate on a network of West-Siberian Railway selected under the most-walked analogue - plow machine SZP-600r.The proposed project design of all structural elements of the plow SZP-600R has been changed in view of the desired trajectories scheduler slopes and its geometrical layout on the machine VPO-3000,as well as taking into account the requirements of the design and of top-Story-of way,in particular gravel ballast,after work on her cleaning ballast cleaner MF-600. The selection of geometric parameters and the calculation of design elements scheduler slopes are made using APM WinMashin programs according to the real conditionscess of the load operation and,in particular: arrow with the plow is in working position and performs cutting and Zdzvizhkou crude ballast for support of contact network; arrow disclosed at the maximum angle ?; plows are not disclosed and are located along the axis of the boom. The developed design planner slopes allows removal of contaminated ballast portion of the railway line,as well as other operators,radio planning prism slopes. The proposed project will improve the machine VPO-3000 allows the excluded-tained from the technological process of modernization of railroad tracks Add-tional machine to remove the contaminated site ballast,which reduces the cost of performing the work.

    Multi-factor analysis of statistical information using fuzzy set theory techniques

    The article proposes a method of using the mathematical apparatus of the theory of fuzzy sets in automation of the locomotives reliability management, because when writing algorithms there is a problem of transition from not fully formalized concepts of human communication to formalizing software. Examples of the fuzzy sets use in calculating the locomotives reliability are described. When calculating the reliability parameters manually, the volume of calculations does not allow you to move to more complex algorithms. When there are automated systems, it is necessary for each indicator of the transportation process, which affects its reliability, to set the function of belonging to a dangerous and normal value using the mathematical apparatus of the theory of fuzzy sets. Then the risk of a dangerous event will be assessed in probability, taking into account the logical claim to the risk.

    Control system of electromagnetic suspension with feedback of high-speed land transport

    The subjects of the study are the problem of controlling the crew in space by means of an automatic system for controlling the gap between the electromagnet poles and ferro-rails in the system of high-speed land transport based on the levitation effect. One of the main conditions for comfortable levitation mode of the crew is the absence of vertical deformations of the crew during multipoint suspension due to non-uniform distribution of lifting and guiding forces. In order to ensure the stability of the crew's electromagnetic suspension, various combinations of control system feedbacks are proposed. The results of the study of the electromagnetic suspension control system using the electromagnet current feedback in the land speed vehicle levitation mode are presented. The main requirement to the control system of an electromagnetic suspension in the levitation mode is the maximum permissible deviation of the permissible air gap ±5 mm under the action of the impulse of the aerodynamic force in the horizontal plane and the speed of its application. The principle of subordinate regulation of the control system parameters with the use of regulators in accordance with the functional two-loop system of automatic regulation with current feedback has been proposed. The application of the double-loop automatic control system at supply voltage fluctuations corrects the electromagnet current and excludes the deviation of the maximum permissible gap between the electromagnet and the ferro-rail. The performed calculations prove that the introduction of the electromagnet current feedback decreases the velocity transfer coefficients and thus increases the signal speed.

    New paradigm of kinematics «the wheel - the rail»

    Subject of researches is determination and the justification of mathematical characteristics of motion of a railway wheel adequately reflecting the gear of its interaction with a rail. The activity purpose is adaptation of fundamental positions of the cycloidal curves reflecting motion of a circle to motion of conditional points of topological circles of section of a shroud of a railway wheel, having a difficult structure. The activity methodology is constructed on study and systematisation of fundamental investigations in the field of geometry, mathematics and mechanics of idealised motion of a circle in which basis mathematical properties of cycloidal curves are put. The model of motion of a wheel of a railway mounted axle (with immovable wheels on an axis) in which basis are put kinematic and mechanical properties golonomnykh systems is fetched. Following general golonomnykh, fundamental mathematical properties of system, analytical relations and ratio of kinematic parametres of a forward speed of railway vehicles and speed of interaction of wheels with rails which allow to supplement methodology of thrust calculations at us and in other countries are installed. By the current moment time in domestic practice use tens various formulas which actuate a component of linear speed of motion, instead of speed of interaction of wheels with rails, taking into account their physical and geometric parametres. Linear (translational) speed of motion of a wheel not absolutely adequately reflects the gear of interaction of wheels of railway vehicles with rails. The fundamental theory of cycloidal curves gives the chance is proved to normalise analytically speed motion of railway vehicles of various types, to designers and founders it a priori to form constructional and technology - economic characteristics warranting reliability, life and overall performance of the equipment dolly parts, reducing risk of a traffic security of trains.
