    Features of the interaction of the crew and the path when movement of the ep2k electric locomotive in small radius curves

    The article discusses the design features of the mechanical and crew parts of the passenger electric locomotive DC EP2K, which directly have or causes an impact on the rail track. The purpose of the work is to consider the features of the interaction of the crew and the track when moving this electric locomotive in small radius curves by evaluating the forces arising in the "wheel-rail" contact of the three-axle bogies of the EP2K electric locomotive under these conditions. The need to solve such a problem is caused by the results of the analysis of statistical data on the wear of the ridges of the wheels of EP2K electric locomotives. These electric locomotives are operated at the united railway landfill, where there are a large number of curved sections, including curves of small radius. To achieve this goal, a design scheme of a three-axle trolley of an EP2K electric locomotive has been compiled, which allows a quantitative assessment of the forces acting in contact with the wheel ridges with the relay heads. According to the calculation scheme, a system of equations has been compiled, the solution of which makes it possible to estimate the forces between the ridge and the inner face of the rail head. Based on the results of the calculation of the guiding forces of the wheel pairs of the three-axle bogie of the EP2K electric locomotive, it is concluded that the values of the guiding force acting on the second wheel pair are comparable to the forces acting on the first and third wheel pairs, and in some variants even exceed the values of these forces. The obtained results can be used for further research on the development of measures aimed at reducing the wear of the ridges of the wheels of electric locomotives of the EP2K series under operating conditions.

    Model performance liner-tamping-straightening machines vpr-02 and vprs-02

    The algorithm of constructing the confidence interval of the model estimating the reliability of liner-tamping-straightening machines. The basis for assessing the reliability of transport-technological process initiated the concept of reliability, as the probability of reaching a liner-tamping-straightening machines ultimate goal in the manufacture of track work. One of the main factors reliability of track machines is the utilization of their time and availability to work. The guidelines are outdated factor data used during the working time that must be updated, as the machines are constantly being improved. According to the results of field testing of the liner-tamping-straightening machines was established database of values of the coefficients of availability and utilization over time. The data base values were recorded, the last two stages of verification: logical and mathematical. In the article the example of constructing a confidence interval values of the coefficient of use of time depending on the complex index of reliability: availability. To create the model formed the sample values from the database. After sampling in accordance with GOST R 8.736-2011 State system for ensuring the uniformity of measurements. The direct measurement repeated. Methods of processing the results of measurements were tested for their adherence to the law of normal distribution using the goodness of fit Pearson.     A mathematical model of a track circuit for data set generationin machine classification applications

    The quality of a track circuit monitoring system is defined to the great extent by its ability to automatically analyse the acquired data, i. e. identify the state of a track circuit. Machine learning techniques can be applied to implement this functionality. Designing a machine learning algorithm requires a learning data set from the subject domain. In this article we discuss a basic principle of track circuit mathematical model design that could be used to generate such data set. We also apply this principle and a combination of some existing methods to design and demonstrate a mathematical model of the 25 Hz AC track circuit.

    Improvement of cleaning of ballast bed railways from oil products by the gradder washer

    Examined the effect of oil pollution on the ballast bed of the railway track, namely, the effect of oil and oil products on the following functions performed by the ballast bed: maintenance of the rail-sleeper grid, perception of loads from rolling stock, filtration of melt and rainwater. Ballast oil pollution leads to an increase in its distribution in the environment. Oil and oil products have a strong negative impact on the environment, which leads to degradation of vegetation. The causes of oil contamination of the ballast bed, which lead to disruption of its functions, are determined. Attention to increasing the humidity of the ballast in the wintertime, which leads to freezing of the ballast and an increase in the stiffness of the path. Considered a method for cleaning gravel with a gravel-cleaning machine and revealed shortcomings. Studies of the effectiveness of washing oil-contaminated ballast gravel with O-BISM detergent in the absence of mechanical influence on the sample, as well as with the use of barbation and mixing of the sample. The optimal technological mode of application of the washing solution is established. Proposed an option for improving the cleaning of ballast gravel from oil products with a gravel-cleaning machine to solve the problem of efficiently cleaning the ballast gravel from oil pollution, which will solve the problem of crushed stone reuse and utilization.

    Method of ensuring the withdrawal of widening of gauge at curves with radius less than 350 m

    In the article the issues on creation of branch of track width when changing it in the curved track with radius less than 350 m. Presented the existing methods of widening or narrowing the width of the track in the curves section of track. We propose a method of change of gauge in curved track is from 1520 to 1530 or 1535 mm. to the Proposed method of drainage of the track width is carried out by the existing structures of the elements of the superstructure. The proposed method of drainage of the track width gives a smooth fit of the rolling stock in curve track section and provides the requirements of the applicable standards.

    Organizational and technological parameters of operation of bearing railway track machines cyclic action

    The models of complex organizational and technological parameters of operation of liner-straightening machines cyclic action on the example of the VPR-02 and VPRS-02 using a probabilistic assessment of the reliability of their work. For her study conducted two etapa checks: logical and mathematical. After sampling in accordance with GOST 8.207-76 inspect it belongs-rise normal distribution using Pearson's chi-squared test. Next calculated reliability and risk completion of the planned scope of work machine systems, complexes, components and individual machines in the planned period of time. The models are based on actual field tests of databases, technical and economic indicators of machines, components and systems in real operating conditions. This model optimizes track works with a given reliability at stave-builder, all kinds of repair and current maintenance of railway track. And also give the opportunity to the WHO-define more rational modes of operation of track machines for you, edits, tamping and straightening the railway line, thereby increasing pa O-workings of these machines. They enable organizations operating these machines more reasonably expect the required number of cars processes track works, their cost and labor.     Passenger comfort as a track and rolling stock interaction indicator

    The article deals with the issue of the interaction of the track and rolling stock and the relationship of factors affecting the comfort of passengers. Examples of passenger comfort indicators are given and possible causes of deviations in the track geometry are considered. The results of experimental trips are analyzed and the data obtained by standard diagnostic tools are presented. Natural irregularities in the plan and profile were constructed in the analyzed areas where comfort indicators were exceeded. The data presented demonstrate the use of an additional indicator of the interaction of the track and rolling stock, which is advisable to take into account to identify deviations in the geometry of the track gauge when carrying out work on the current maintenance of the track, since there are irregularities or combinations of irregularities in the track that have an increased dynamic impact. It is worth noting that currently not all irregularities are registered, and accordingly such irregularities are not eliminated. Using the «passenger comfort» indicator calculated from the accelerations occurring in the elements of the rolling stock, it is possible to determine the places and deviations of the geometry of the track gauge that affect the dynamic characteristics of the rolling stock, causing increased comfort indicators.

    Track maintenance planning using the data of track measurement cars

    The method and research results of information obtained by track management cars about the track state for planning track repair work to eliminate track defects have been shown. The defect types and their degrees measured by the relevant assessment method as well as the lengths of deviation from the rules of track maintenance have been analyzed. This was possible due to the latest versions of the software installed into track management cars of the КВЛ-П system. The scope and sequence of repair track work depending on their urgency, top-priority and schedule under structural and seasonal conditions has been determined. The conclusion concerning the efficiency of the presented method has been made.

    Search for failures of receiver end devices of tonal rail circuits on station

    The article describes the possibility of applying diagnostic algorithms, taking into account the complexity of the examination, applied to a specific problem of searching for damage in receiver of station's tonal track circuit. The aim of the work is to justify the need to take into account the complexity of the survey when compiling these algorithms. The order of compiling the diagnostic algorithm is shown, conditional probabilities, diagnostic weights, private and general diagnostic values are calculated. On the basis of the calculations performed, algorithms for diagnosing taking into account the complexity of the examination in receiver of the tonal track circuit was compiled. The work results presented in the article can be used for technical maintenance of automation systems of operating railways.

    Algorithm of cars' presence on non-public tracks as a basis for improving the quality of operation of the «railway - clients» system

    Non-public railway tracks and junction stations of mainline railway transport are the most important links of the «railway - clients» system. At these points, car traffic is generated and extinguished, as well as information and documents are exchanged. When organizing interaction, it is necessary to take into account the interests of not only the carrier and the owner (user) of the non-public track, but also the owners of rolling stock. The most effective solution is to develop an automated interaction management system. The purpose of the work is to determine the factors that lead to idle of cars while waiting for technological operations to be performed with them. This will allow you to find control solutions aimed at eliminating (reducing) the negative impact on the operation of the “railway - clients” system. To achieve this, an algorithm has been developed for the presence of a car on non-public railway tracks, and factors that have a negative impact on the idle of cars on non-public tracks have been identified. The proposed algorithm is the basis for developing a mathematical model for calculating the time spent by a car on non-public tracks. The presence of cars on non-public tracks is presented as a control object for the subsequent development of an automated control system for the interaction of junction stations and non-public tracks. It will have a comprehensive approach to calculating the costs and risks of all participants in the «railway - clients» system.

    Assessment of the noise impact of rolling stock on the residential area

    The article shows the relevance of the problem of noise pollution of the environment by railway transport. The purpose of the research is to assess by calculation and instrumental methods the compliance of the existing noise levels in the residential area near the railway tracks with sanitary standards, to propose a set of noise protection measures and to substantiate their acoustic efficiency. The applied methods for measuring and calculating the equivalent and maximum noise levels of the rolling stock comply with the requirements of regulatory documents. The authors took into account the features of the propagation and shielding of sound waves in the existing residential area, background noise, and the traffic intensity of trains of various categories. The results of measurements, calculations and estimates of the noise generated by the rolling stock in the residential area in Omsk are presented. A significant excess of the maximum permissible equivalent and maximum noise levels in residential areas has been established. Comparison of the calculated and measured noise values, taking into account the standard uncertainty of the calculation methods and the expanded measurement uncertainty, showed quite satisfactory convergence of the results obtained and confirmed a significant excess of the sanitary noise standards. A set of measures is proposed to reduce the noise of railway rolling stock at the source of its occurrence and on the path of its propagation in the existing residential area. The dimensions of the embankments of the two sections of the railway tracks allow the installation of screens of low height up to 38 cm, the geometry of which is designed so that, in terms of reflection of the noise emitted by the rolling stock, they are at least equivalent to a standard noise protection wall 2 m high. For the track section located in the recess, it is proposed to install a noise barrier 6 m high and at least 1 km long. Its acoustic efficiency was calculated.

    Reducing the time maintenance of station track circuits of railway automation

    This article discusses the process of maintenance of railway automation devices. The aim of the work is to reduce labor costs for maintenance of track circuits of railway automation. Presents the method for automating the process of checking on the shunt track circuits shunting sensitivity of track circuit by at cross-rack and scheme of the device that implements this method. The values of shunt resistance equivalent to the imposition of regulatory shunt at predetermined points of the track circuit are calculated. The results obtained in the paper can be used for the improvement of systems of automation of existing railways.

    The effectiveness of the technology of replacing rail lashes with the use of attachments

    The article discusses the issues of using the technology of replacing inventory rails with rail lashes of a jointless track. For the production of works on the replacement of rail lashes, excavators on a combined course have been selected as the leading machines, which in recent years have been widely used in the production of works for the current maintenance and repair of the railway track. The paper presents the results of a comparative assessment of the use of rail lash replacement technology using attachments and using a pair of trolleys. In order to select the best technology for the production of works on the replacement of rail lashes, a methodology for assessing the economic efficiency of using a particular technology has been developed. The main indicator in the calculations were the given operating costs, taking into account the cost of the machine per unit of work, the cost of relocating the machine, the delay of trains, the wages of track fitters and the discharge of rail lashes. According to the results of the calculation, it was found that it is economically advantageous to replace rail lashes at the front of work up to 4 km using technology using a pair of trolleys, at the front of work more than 4 km, it is advisable to replace rail lashes using technology using attachments. The maximum economic effect when using technology with the use of attachments is achieved with a work front of 10 km. A comparison of the results of work on two technologies gives grounds to conclude that with a three-hour «window», the volume of work performed on the technology with the use of attachments is 1,7 times higher than the volume of work performed on the technology with the use of a pair of trolleys.
