    Construction of mathematical models of mechanical wear contact pairs devices current collection

    The article describes a mathematical model of electro-mechanical devices wear contact pairs current collection of electric transport in conditions as close to real operating conditions. Synthesis of models made in two directions: model the mechanical load and model of electric current flow in sliding contact. The mathematical model also allows to take into account the thermal processes oc-curring in sliding contact by passing an electric current through a sliding contact. Are compared the results of calculations and experimental studies of wear of contact pairs of different materials. Experimental studies were performed on a dedicated test bench installation created in Omsk State Transport University. Relative error between calculation and experiment is not more than 6 %.

    The study of the key parameters of laser triangulation rangefinder for use in technical control of parts ofthe railway car

    This article contains results of a preliminary study of the parameters of the laser triangulation sensor in the context of its application to control of a technical condition of details of the car. The main aim of the study is the experimental determination of the limits of applicability of the sensor to monitor the real sample detail of the new design freight car on the example of 18-9855 bogie parts. By the experimental methods where established the threshold limits of applicability of the given sensor, its properties and application features for dimensional control. Also where established limit angles of the distance measurement at the maximum setting of the speed sensor, the actual focal point of the transducer. The analysis of the obtained data allowed authors to make an optimal scheme of automated measurement machine of portal type for control of the size and shape of parts of the car. The results of the work is possible to use when designing automated systems and equipment for dimensional inspection of parts during manufacture, repair and maintenance of railroad cars and other vehicles.

    The mathematical model of traction drive Electric locomotive EP20 for research of dynamic processes in a mode of boxing is constructed. The natural frequencies and coefficients of the forms of the dynamic system are determined. The stability of the drive in relation to frictional self-oscillations is estimated. Dynamic loads in the drive elements at a single angular speed of wheel slip are calculated.     Analytical capabilities for complex aes spectrometry for the control defects rail track

    The aim of the work, the results of which are presented in this article, is to a study of the impact of physical and mechanical properties of rail steel on the parameters of the spectrum emission. The experimental results were obtained by method of atomic emission spectroscopy (AES) in argon. Performed quantitative analysis material of the rail steel and built a multi-dimensional graduations of the description of the spectral lines correlate with changes in the hardness of steel. The results can be used to extend the capabilities of devices atomic-emission spectral analysis

    Traction engines turn-to-turn armature coil insulation testing process using the method of wave response readout

    The article deals with the suitability of wave response method aptitude for traction engines turn-to-turn armature coil insulation testing and development of testing coil adequate model for further researching of physical processes occurring while testing. The method of wave response readout in armature coil reported is described in the article. The equivalent circuit of armature coil relating to wave response method is given. The wave responses got during physical model testing, simulating in MATLAB are shown. The real and simulating results analysis allows you to approve the proposed equivalent circuit adequacy. This equivalent circuit may be used for simulating of traction engines insulation fails relating to wave response method.

    Locomotive operating efficiency study

    Principal directions for increase of locomotive operating efficiency are determined in the article based on statistical estimates as per data on the main domestic locomotive series. Work ratio is suggested as universal indicator. It is demonstrated that in addition to locomotives' reliability enhancement, increase of the trains' haulage management system efficiency is also a large reserve. It is proven that the number of locomotive units can be reduced at least by 2,000 thous. units.

    Mathematical model of optimum power control of dc electric locomotive in traction mode and the method of its solution

    Rational way to improve the operational efficiency of the locomotive is adjustable power.The implementation of this method possible with the use of automatic power regulation implementing the optimal load,the operation mode of the traction and energy unit (TEU) of the locomotive. The aim of this work is to obtain mathematical relationships,establishing the optimal ratio between the number of employees of TD given thrust and speed. Determination of the optimal ratio being in the traction motors is based on finding the minimum power losses at the nodes of the TEU. Search the minimum of complex functions is an optimization problem,which from a mathematical point of view is to determine the minimum of function of several variables with a number of constraints,and relationships. To solve the problem of finding the minimum of a complex function,we used the method of indeterminate Lagrange multipliers. The optimization process is considered at a constant value of the voltage supplied to the TD and sold power.Variables - the force of traction,speed of movement,the ratio of incremental losses,the resistance of the circuit of the armature of TD was assumed constant,which allowed to simplify the solution of the problem,reducing it to find three unknown quantities - current,the number of TD and magnetic flux. The solution to this system of equations for the number TD,participating in the work were obtained analytical dependences the optimum values of the TD depending on the speed,the thrust force on the rim of the driving wheels of the locomotive and tension. Analytical expressions for determining optimal parameters of power regulation of electric DC,allow to obtain the optimal values of the number of workers so and the load depending on the given values of thrust and speed in the entire range of load modes of EPS. The analytical expressions can be used when drawing up regime maps and energy performance certificates EPS,and also in the most important automatic devices of power control of the rolling stock to set the optimal ratio of number of employees and so on.

    Assessment of technical and economic effect from updating of technological documentation for the optimized system of maintenance and repair of locomotives

    The article describes the main provisions of the optimized system of the electric locomotives maintenance service and repair, as well as the results of the experiment to increase between-repairs run of the electric locomotives in the Eastern polygon. The author examines the impact of techno-logical preparation of production on the quality of repair and the number of failures in the transi-tion to a more streamlined system. The article proposes a method of calculation of adjustment and development cost of technological documentation, which is an integral part of technological prepa-ration of production. The cost calculation includes qualifications and salaries of industrial engi-neers, the complexity and volume of developed or adjusted technological documentation. The author gives the example of calculation of adjustment and development cost of technological docu-mentation in depot conditions. The economic effect from the implementation of this methodology and optimized system repair shows its effectiveness and viability. Due to the adjustments of techno-logical processes of the electric locomotives repair, the number of failures during operation, dis-covered during the experiment in the Eastern polygon, will decrease. Benefit from the increased between-repairs run and reducing the complexity of some of the repairs will cover the costs of im-plementation of the optimized system.

    Ways to improve energy efficiency passenger locomotives when operating on the plains railways

    Electricity consumption for traction depends on a number of operational parameters, including the use of power of electric rolling stock. On Russian Railways there are flat areas of great extent, which operated the locomotives inefficient use of power and work modes with low energy performance. The aim of this work is to examine ways to improve the energy efficiency of passenger locomotives, such as the operation of electric rolling stock with rational values of power and number of axes for the modern passenger transport on the flat sections of the road long-haul and assess their energy performance. To achieve this goal was determined by the rational value of the power required for driving trains on this stretch of track with maximum speeds of 160 km/h, the calculations of the asynchronous traction motors obtained traction and power characteristics of electric locomotives with asynchronous traction drive, and a proposed comparison methodology, allowing to evaluate the difference of power consumption for traction of electric locomotives with asynchronous traction drive (with rational values of power and number of axes) currently operating a DC electric locomotive EP2K. On the basis of the conducted research it was concluded that there are reserves for improvement of energy efficiency of passenger locomotives on the flat sections of the road long-haul, such as operation of electric rolling stock with rational values of power and number of axes corresponding to the train weight, speed and track profile, which will significantly reduce the cost of electricity for traction of trains.

    In article the question about possibility of extension of service life of carriage wheels by influence on technological parameters of restoration of their driving profile is considered. The correlation analysis of statistical data on volumes of machining and the size of defects on a driving surface of the wheels coming to repair is made. The mechanism of purpose of an allowance for machining of a driving profile of a wheel which will allow to reduce an unreasonable consumption of metal of a rim of a wheel in shaving is offered.

    The article is devoted to the problem of improving the DC motor winding armature insulation technical condition diagnosing quality with regard to its frequency properties by forming the equivalent circuit of the electric motor rolling stock armature winding, which allows to determine the frequency numerical values of the parameters,the results of experimental studies of the armature winding oscillatory characteristics as a single-terminal pair are given; and the dependences of the impedance, reactance and active impedance are established. The dependences between equivalent circuits elements numerical values and turn-to-turn location for further formation diagnostic model based on the results.

    Hydraulic calculation of the modernized system water in the passenger car of railway transport

    In the article there is the method of calculating the loss of water pressure in the water system of passenger cars, equipped with a cleaning system as a series of two filters installed and the flow of ultraviolet sterilizer screw design. There is the results of calculation of losses in the various water systems of cars with the maximum and minimum charging time and the water pressure in the water system station. The rational geometric parameters of the decontamination chamber flow ultraviolet sterilizer of the conditions to ensure complete filling of the tank car parking in the minimum time with minimum pressure of the water supply system of the station. The value of head loss does not exceed the nameplate values typical designs. The geometry of the sterilizer allows you to integrate the device into the car. Its design values are taken to develop the prototype of a UV sterilizer successfully tested. To be able to determine the loss of water pressure chamber decontamination sterilizer screw coil design is presented with a rectangular cross section, «wound» on the cylinder. Local loss of one turn calculated using the reference formula proposed by G.N. Abramovich.
