Timely detection of the occurrence of intense wear allows you to prevent negative consequences, make timely repairs, eliminate the likelihood of unplanned exit of the locomotive from service. As a result of the study of the intensity of accumulation of wear products in engine oil, a mathematical model has been developed, which is implemented with the use of an artificial neural network apparatus. Its use allows to carry out an operational assessment of the technical condition of diesel engine parts in an in dividing way and to improve the technological process of repairing diesel engines of the D49 type -

9-17The account of a real technical condition of the equipment of the locomotive at planning of volumes of its repair is one of the major reserves of reduction of working costs of railways and decrease in the cost price of transportations. The continuous control of a technical condition of the locomotive in operation is carried out with use of stationary and onboard means of technical diagnostics. The increasing of operational profitability and reliability of diesel locomotives demands continuous control for a technical condition of their equipment in the service. The wide-band exhaust gases oxygen content sensor can be used for continuous monitoring of the air excess coefficient in the locomotive diesel engine cylinders. This type sensors are widely used in automotive diesel engines control systems. It means for indirect estimation of the engine cylinders mixture quality by the exhaust gases oxygen content. -

11-22The article presents a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of automated systems for recording the work parameters of autonomous locomotives. The relevance of the use of such systems is due to the prevention of defects at the stage of identifying possible malfunctions during the operation of locomotives during the inter-repair periods. So the used systems of parametric diagnostics of power plants of autonomous locomotives are considered. Also, for comparison, the experience of foreign research on the use of a diesel locomotive monitoring system is presented. Despite the fact that the existing automated systems for registering the parameters of diesel locomotives have a wide range of functionality that allows you to obtain typical dependences of the power of a diesel generator set (DSU) on temperature and pressure, these systems do not take into account the peculiarities of the flow of in-cylinder processes that can significantly affect the power of the DSU. The article proposes a method for monitoring and adjusting the power of the diesel engine during operation by registering the operating modes of the equipment and determining the actual power of the diesel engine by expanding the range of diagnostic parameters by installing additional sensors for registering measured values for the accuracy of monitoring and tuning the diesel engine and making timely decisions on maintenance and repair of locomotives. A block diagram of the recorder of operating modes with the location of sensors for measuring informative parameters and a diagram of connecting the recorder to the power circuit using the example of a shunting diesel locomotive CHME3 is shown. Software has been developed that can be additionally installed in the standard automated system for registering the parameters of the operation of the CHME3 diesel locomotive with subsequent data processing. -

30-37The technical condition of the cylinder-piston group has significant effect on the reliable operation of the diesel locomotive engines. The most susceptible to the premature failure is the head of cylinders. It is caused by the heat release rate of the combustion chamber detail. The increase of the diesel locomotive engines cylinder heads durability in operation causes the relevance of the researches. In the article the set of the factors influencing on the diesel locomotive engine cylinder heads durability is defined, their main groups and subgroups are found. In the offered classification the subjective factors which directly depend on the human activity are dominated. It is possible to reduce the influence of the subjective factors by means of the human activity wrong solutions reduction while operating and repairing locomotives. The measures that improve diesel locomotive engine operation and positively affect the reliability of the cylinder heads are considered. Simple in implementation methods to extend the service life of the cylinder-piston group are offered. They are decreasing temperatures gradient during the post-stopping period of the power point and upgrading cooling system. -

Periodic assessment without taking for the pieces of these groups is possible when using a method based on an analysis of the current values of the control concentration of wear. One of the main problems in the implementation of this method is the problem of estimating the amount of metal worn with controlled parts on the analysis of the current values of the concentration of wear. The article describes the method of calculation and simulation results of the system clean engine oil diesel D49. -

32-41Currently, in the brake system of operated cars, there is a problem of lack of brake pressure on the wheel, which is necessary for the movement of the train at a set speed in accordance with the regulatory documentation. This is due to the tendency to increase the mass of trains and the maximum load of cars with a constant tare weight, which requires an extended range of pressure control in the brake cylinder by an air distributor or auto mode, depending on the load of the car. To solve this problem, calculations were made of the braking coefficient of cars equipped with air distributors № 483, which showed that the freight car was not equipped with brakes to run as part of a train at a set speed. In the course of engineering studies, it turned out that increasing the spring rate of loaded and medium modes can increase the adjusting range of the air distributor and partially solve the problem of lack of brake pressure. Thus, it is proposed to recalculate the stiffness of the adjusting spring. Calculations of the rigidity of regular and proposed springs were made. The braking coefficient has been recalculated, taking into account the increased spring constant. As a result, this coefficient has increased, which makes it possible to remove speed limits. The proposed method for upgrading the air distributor can be carried out on all types of repairs, which facilitates the implementation process. -

61-70Article is devoted to actual questions of research of microstructure,physic-mechanical and tribological indicators blankets of friction couple "ring-sleeve of cylinder" under laser processing.Analysis of base defects of elements of cylinder-piston group of internal combustion engines,methods their reduction and rise of tribotechnical characteristics are conducted.Notes that different kinds of thermos and chemical thermal processing of working surface of link are most effective means of rise of wear resistance of couple "ring-sleeve of cylinder".Using of perspective technology of laser thermostrengthening is offered with this target.Offering technologies find greater application in automobile and technics of agricultural purpose. But purpose of ICE in aviation industry due to their specific exploitative and specific design features is limited.At the same time,they may have important practical meaning. Different variants of laser modification of surfaces of coupling in the context of CPG of aviation engine of ASH-62IR are offered and analyzed in article. Data of microstructural analysis of blanket,indicators of microhardness and wear resistance are adduced.Short description of tribotechnical laboratory-scale plant and methodic of conduct an experiment on base of comparative analysis of findings is given.Wherein tribotechnical indicators are compared with results of metallographical researches and physic-mechanical properties of modification layer,in particular with indicator of microhardness. Conduct of tribological researches determines that rise of indicator of wear resistance of friction couple "ring-sleeve of cylinder" observed at all researching regimes of laser effect with acconting of identified border conditions of processing for both elements of coupling.Maximum value of wear resistance is observed at laser thermostrengthening of both surfaces of couple on critical levels of density of laser energy.These levels do not case of appearance of microcracks in blanket.Wherein wearing qualities of modification surface of cylinder sleeve may increase by 4,5 - 5 times and wearing qualities of piston rings more than 3 times. Theoretical bases of mechanism of wear of thermos thermostrengthening surfaces which illustrate kinetics of increase their wear resistance in result of formation of microstructure of special blanket with increased bearing capacity,microhardness and improved conditions of wear of modification layer.Experimentally validated that the greatest wear resistance is observed in the friction elements at their mutual modifying their surfaces.
