    Influence of defects rim wheelsets, received in repair, on performance of their recovery turning

    The article presents the results of studies of the effect of material properties and wheel failures on the process of their machining on the on the car wheel lathe. Developed by complex criterion that takes into account the effect of various factors on the allowable cutting speed. The proposed method for assessing the machinability of cutting wheels through additive criteria. The quantitative characteristics of the machinability of cutting are obtained, taking into account the macroscopic imprecision of the geometric shape, defects in the thermomechanical interaction of the wheel, brake pad and rail, surface defects of the rim, work hardening and the presence of zones of increased hardness. The results can be used in the development of methods to reduce the consumption of carbide cutting tools for machining parts of rolling stock with operational defects.

    State question reliability and durability insulation induction auxiliary machines

    This article presents an analysis of the reliability of asynchronous auxiliary machines (AAM) type NVA-55 electric locomotives «Ermak» in custody Art. Vihorevka (East-Siberian Railway) and Art. Smolyaninovo (Far Eastern) for the 2009-2011 year. Identified the weakest in terms of reliability components and analyzes the main types and causes of these types of faults AAM. One of the research objectives reliability AAM type NVA-55 is to determine the mean time between failures that could prevent failures in the organization of maintenance and repair, as well as extend the life of the machine. Defining the objective mathematical expectation of failure AAM for effective correcting the overhaul life mileage is not possible, since failures are largely have random and not permanent.

    The probability calculating of failure categories of the locomotive equipment reliability

    The article discusses the specifics of the locomotive reliability indicators use in the Russian Railways. Examples of locomotive reliability indicators and the indicators used in the Russian Railways in the conclusion of service contracts, including under the life cycle contract are given. A method of transition from national standard to Russian Railways has been proposed. It is concluded that these procedures can be automated.

    Failure analysis of mechanical equipment electric locomotives 2es6

    This article provides an analysis of the failure of mechanical equipment freight electric loco-motive 2ES6 "Sinara". The aim is to analyze the main failure of the mechanical part, the causes of failure . Using statistical methods for estimating and accounting data form TU -29 "Book of dam-age or malfunction of locomotives and multiple units and their equipment" locomotive repair depot «Мoskovka» investigated. Mechanical equipment failures make up 8.72% of all failures locomotive. Mean operating time to failure of the mechanical part locomotive is L2=156221km. Failure analy-sis of mechanical equipment showed that about 50% of all faults related to the deterioration of the rolling surface of the wheelset . More than a third of all failures associated with unilateral wheel flange wear. Mean time to failure due to a unilateral wheelset wear bandage is L1=279874 km. One reason is the incorrect distribution the load on the wheelsets at the factory and in the process of the attendance, maintenance. About 20% of mechanical equipment failures account for the fail-ure ventilation pipes. Analysis showed that the problem appears in the winter season. The main reason is a design defect ventilation pipes. Other types of mechanical equipment failures have less statistical significance. For comparison, the paper analyzes the distribution of electric locomotives VL10 mechanical failures. The obtained dependences can be a source of information for the system repair locomotives 2ES6 "Sinara" on-condition maintenance.

    Optimization of standards of repair runs in locomotives series 2(3,4)es5k on the basis of failures of the traction motor

    System of preventive maintenance and maintenance of the operable condition of the traction rolling stock. The subject of a global study of failures of traction motors in the event of a breakdown on the territory of the service locomotive depot «Dalnevostochnoye» and «Primorskoye» for 2019. The purpose of the study is to determine the possible norms of overhaul runs for the considered node in order to achieve the optimal number of locomotive calls for unscheduled repairs. In the work, the correct law of distribution of traction motor (TED) failures, the determination of the Sturgess, Pearson coefficients and other methods of mathematical statistics and the theory of justification of systems. The article defines an element that limits the norms of overhaul runs of traction motors; the theoretical distribution of traction motor failures due to a decrease in the insulation resistance of its windings has been obtained. As part of the study, the optimization of the norms of overhaul runs was carried out according to the conditions for conducting maintenance regarding the traction motor. As a result of the analysis of the causes of failures, it was found that more cases of placing locomotives for unscheduled repairs occur in the first mileage interval of locomotives due to poor quality diagnostics at TR-1 upon measuring the resistance of the insulation windings. Most of the failures occurring in the first period of operation are not associated with a change in the reliability of the considered node. When considering two normal peaks of failures, falling on the operating time intervals 14-21 and 28-35, the necessity of optimizing the norms of overhaul runs is determined.     Determination of rational terms for rehabilitation of electric locomotive equipments

    The article is devoted to the definition of rational overhaul runs equipment of locomotives. This has an impact not only on the reliability of the rolling stock, but also on safety. As a method chosen for the implementation of this task, the functions of the failure rate are used, with the subsequent construction of the functions of resource distribution and determining 90 % of the resource of the equipment of electric locomotives. The proposed technique allows you to determine the rational timing of maintenance and repair of locomotives in the specific conditions of their operation. The calculations are based on information about changes in the technical condition of the wheel-motor block of VL10 electric locomotives.

    Development of a probable failure prediction model in the operation of the current collection system due to ice formation on the wires of the contact network

    The article discusses the criteria used to calculate the probability of failures of devices of the current collection system due to ice and frost deposits on a catenary. The purpose of the work is to determine the influence of climatic and operational factors (including the number of vibrating pantographs, pneumatic drums on electric locomotives within the boundaries of the Directorate for power supply and devices for mechanical cleaning of ice at power supply distances) on the probability of the occurrence of failures of the current collection system and their severity, which will allow to increase the reliability of operation of traction power supply devices in conditions of ice formation and the efficiency of investments by Transenergo and the Traction Directorate for the purchase of these funds. To determine the likelihood of failures of current collection devices due to the formation of ice on the wires of the contact network, it is proposed to divide all factors into climatic and operational. The choice of factors in predicting failures was carried out using a probabilistic Bayesian network based on statistical methods of data processing, as well as correlation and regression analysis. As a result of the research, the factors influencing the likelihood of failures of current collection devices have been determined, and their significance has been assessed using the calculated variances. A method is given for calculating the probability of failure for a conditional distance of power supply, which makes it possible to assess the adequacy of the equipment of Transenergo and Traction Directorates with devices for mechanical cleaning of ice from a contact wire, vibropantographs and pneumatic drums.

    Improvement the design and technology of repair the diesel locomotives traction electric motors

    The subject of consideration of this article is the traction electric motor of a diesel locomotive. Traction electric motor (TED) is the main element of power transmission, therefore, the reliability of the locomotive as a whole depends on its reliability. The main causes of failures of traction motors in operation are considered. Based on the analysis of statistical data, it can be argued that the most damaged part of the traction motor is its armature. In the context of the introduction of new classes of insulation heat resistance by the new standard - GOST 2582-2013 - ensuring the reliability of the anchor is especially important. The causes of the most common failures of TED in operation have been established: violation of the integrity of the insulation of the winding by the sharp edges of the extreme sheets of the anchor core iron package when laying the winding in the grooves of the core, vibration of the extreme sheets of the anchor core iron package when exposed to electromagnetic forces with a frequency multiple of the number of poles of the electric motor, imperfection of the fastening system of the frontal parts of the armature winding, mismatch of the coefficients of temperature linear elongations copper windings, insulating materials and steel core of the armature. The result of the analysis of the design of serial TED were proposals to improve the design of the nodes most prone to failures. To eliminate breaks in the insulation of anchors in operation, a new design of pressure washers and an improved technology for impregnating anchors of commercially produced traction electric motors of locomotives are proposed. The proposed design solutions can be used both when creating new TED designs for promising locomotives and when upgrading serial designs. Thus, the application of the proposed design and technological solutions will increase the reliability of the diesel locomotives.

    Some aspects of choice of means of fighting with the icedeposit on the power lines

    The problem of emergency outages of power consumers due to the interruption of the wires of power lines due to ice formation remains relevant for today. As a solution to this problem, an electromechanical class device developed by the authors is proposed in the article. The principles of his work, the features of the design and placement on the wires are outlined. The functionality of the device in automatic mode is described. The substantiation of the maximum efficiency of electromechanical methods of struggle against icing is given in comparison with others, including thermal methods.     Assessment and forecasting of reliability of rails in various operational conditions

    Method of calculation of reliability of rails are presented in article. Research of refusals and durability of rails on two directions of the West Siberian management of infrastructure for sites of a way with different operational characteristics is conducted. Dependence of a gamma percent resource of rails on axial loading of cars and the plan of a way is received.     Improvement of probabilistic models of failure prediction of elements of railroad power supply infrastructure

    The article examines the technique of designing diagnostic system of infrastructure of electrical railways based on use of bayesian networks for prediction of probabilities of failures. To achieve maximum effectiveness of diagnosis we should minimize the number of input parameters, while maintaining the required accuracy. It is proposed to create a mathematical model of the diagnostic system, that will allow to evaluate the influence of each parameter on the accuracy of prediction of failures. To compensate the lack of source data we can use the advantage of bayesian networks - the opportunity to generate network structure by the method of expert evaluations. Generated bayesian network will perform the failure probability calculation with limited information.

    Application of diversity in automated control systems of hazardous technological processes to increase resistance to systematic failures

    The influence of systematic failures to the functional safety of automated control systems of hazardous technological processes is considered. It is shown that stability ensuring of the process control system to systematic failures is an actual task for today. Approaches to increase the robustness to systematic failures recommended by IEC 61508 are presented. Special attention is paid to methods based on diversion. The functional diversity and technology diversity have been revealed in detail. Examples of using diversification in railway automation systems are given. The main problems of using diversification to increase resistance to systematic failures are formulated. The main advantages of using diversification are increased resistance to systematic failures and reduced risk of dangerous failures through the usage of diversified protection methods at the functional levels of the APCS. The disadvantages of using diversification are a significant increase in the costs of developing and automated process control system maintenance, the difficulty of confirming the different behavior of diversified channels in case of systematic failures, and the lack of an effective method to assessing the sufficiency of the obtained diversification for a given level of safety integrity.
