    State question reliability and durability insulation induction auxiliary machines

    This article presents an analysis of the reliability of asynchronous auxiliary machines (AAM) type NVA-55 electric locomotives «Ermak» in custody Art. Vihorevka (East-Siberian Railway) and Art. Smolyaninovo (Far Eastern) for the 2009-2011 year. Identified the weakest in terms of reliability components and analyzes the main types and causes of these types of faults AAM. One of the research objectives reliability AAM type NVA-55 is to determine the mean time between failures that could prevent failures in the organization of maintenance and repair, as well as extend the life of the machine. Defining the objective mathematical expectation of failure AAM for effective correcting the overhaul life mileage is not possible, since failures are largely have random and not permanent.

    Improving the technological process of repair of diesels type d49

    Wearing parts of the cylinder-piston group and crank mechanism is one of the main reasons for putting a diesel engine into repair. Timely detection of the occurrence of intense wear allows you to prevent negative consequences, make timely repairs, eliminate the likelihood of unplanned exit of the locomotive from service.     Predictive repair of the traction rolling stock based on onboard microprocessor control systems

    A modern solution to the problem of improving the efficiency of the traction rolling stock maintenance and repair processes based on the use of new information technologies is the transition to a locomotives predictive repair promising system. The key element of the predictive repair system in the issue of operational assessment and management of the locomotives technical condition are onboard microprocessor control systems with built-in diagnostic, monitoring and monitoring subsystems. The onboard microprocessor control systems have the ability to carry out continuous or discrete measurement, registration, transmission and accumulation the values of large package analog and discrete locomotive equipment parameters. The functionality of the onboard microprocessor control systems based on information technologies makes them an exceptionally effective means of efficiently organizing maintenance and repair impacts on the locomotive park in order to ensure specified operational reliability and performance indicators.

    Development of the imitation model of depovian repair of locomotives taking into account the probability of the appearance of additional technological operations

    In this article the problems of efficiency of functioning of production systems of the locomotive repair enterprise are solved. In particular, the object of research is the technological processes of repair and maintenance of electric locomotives at the enterprises for repair of traction rolling stock. The article presents a mathematical description of the production process of such enterprises, on the example of the service locomotive depot «Moskovka». The mathematical model is described on the basis of queueing theory (QS) and Markov chains. A graph of the technological state of the locomotive during repair in the depot, where the process of transition of the repaired rolling stock from the state to the state, i.e. the relationship of technological movements of the electric locomotive on the territory of the depot, as well as the time of technological operations described transition matrix. The distribution of repair requests is described by the Poisson law, the delay of the electric locomotive in the depot areas in the planned types of repair in accordance with the accepted norm, and in the unplanned form of repair, the applications are delayed in accordance with the distribution of erlang. Based on the results of the mathematical description of the model of the production process of the repair enterprise, a simulation model of the operation of the Moskovka depot was created, implemented on a computer with the help of professional software of a new generation - AnyLogic. The paper describes the logic diagram of the simulation model, selected methods and modeling libraries. According to the results of the study, the overall assessment of technological performance indicators of the locomotive repair enterprise, in the conditions of probabilistic, dynamic changes in the repair task. By means of the methods of research of technological processes of depot «Moskovka» realized in article, it is possible to design any repair enterprises on repair of a rolling stock of the railroads, for the purpose of identification of «bottlenecks» of production process.

    Losses power in knots and units as the indicatorof efficiency of use the locomotive

    In article examines the indicator of the energy efficiency of the locomotive as an indicator of the quality repair and use the power (energy efficiency) of the locomotive. This indicator is calculated for electric locomotives that have undergone current repair of MW-3 or repair of a similar volume, based on the predicted additional power losses in the limiting units and units of the locomotive, determined taking into account their technical parameters and characteristics obtained as a result of the repair. The application of the proposed indicator as an indicator the efficiency the use of electric locomotives will allow to influence the improvement of their technical condition through the management the quality of repairs and the use of power.

    Locomotive operating efficiency study

    Principal directions for increase of locomotive operating efficiency are determined in the article based on statistical estimates as per data on the main domestic locomotive series. Work ratio is suggested as universal indicator. It is demonstrated that in addition to locomotives' reliability enhancement, increase of the trains' haulage management system efficiency is also a large reserve. It is proven that the number of locomotive units can be reduced at least by 2,000 thous. units.

    Assessment of technical and economic effect from updating of technological documentation for the optimized system of maintenance and repair of locomotives

    The article describes the main provisions of the optimized system of the electric locomotives maintenance service and repair, as well as the results of the experiment to increase between-repairs run of the electric locomotives in the Eastern polygon. The author examines the impact of techno-logical preparation of production on the quality of repair and the number of failures in the transi-tion to a more streamlined system. The article proposes a method of calculation of adjustment and development cost of technological documentation, which is an integral part of technological prepa-ration of production. The cost calculation includes qualifications and salaries of industrial engi-neers, the complexity and volume of developed or adjusted technological documentation. The author gives the example of calculation of adjustment and development cost of technological docu-mentation in depot conditions. The economic effect from the implementation of this methodology and optimized system repair shows its effectiveness and viability. Due to the adjustments of techno-logical processes of the electric locomotives repair, the number of failures during operation, dis-covered during the experiment in the Eastern polygon, will decrease. Benefit from the increased between-repairs run and reducing the complexity of some of the repairs will cover the costs of im-plementation of the optimized system.

    Mobile electricity storage system for temporary strengthening the dc traction power supply system

    The article deals with the issue of using electric power storage systems in railway transport. It is noted that they are used in renewable energy sources and on hybrid shunting diesel locomotives. The possibility of using electric power storage systems to improve the efficiency of using electric power for train traction is indicated. The introduction of electric energy storage systems in the traction power supply system is hampered by high capital costs and the need to strengthen several adjacent inter-substation zones at once. It is proposed to consider the possibility of creating a mobile energy storage system, all the equipment of which will be placed in containers installed on cargo platforms, which will allow such a system to be quickly moved. The purpose of introducing a mobile power storage system is to temporarily strengthen the traction power supply system during a planned overhaul or emergency repair of one of the tracks on double-track sections of the railway. In this case, there is a need for a batch pass of trains alternately in even and odd directions on the same track. The possibility of using a mobile energy storage system is considered on the example of a real section of the railway. For a given schedule of passing train packages, the dependence of the storage capacity taken off from time, the maximum power and the nominal effective energy intensity of the storage system are determined. An estimate of the electricity storage system cost is given. It is shown that more than 70 % of the total cost of the electricity storage system falls on the imported energy conversion subsystem. It is concluded that it is necessary to develop domestic converter subsystems.

    In the article it is developed a model for the locomotives life cycle managing in their maintenance and repair using automated technical diagnostic systems. Based on statistical analysis of data on the operation of locomotives, the impact of the reliability of the locomotive and its maintenance and repair system on the efficiency of locomotives is theoretically justified. A method of analyzing the technical diagnostic systems effectiveness using the mathematical apparatus of information theory and of predicting the duration of maintenance and repair time with the dynamic use of accumulated statistics on the duration of previous repairs has been developed.

    Development of an automated system of resource-saving control of an electric heating system for drying insulation of traction electric machines

    Traction electric machines (TEM) of locomotives operating at the Eastern circulation range have insufficient reliability, mainly in terms of insulation breakdown, being one of the most important problems in the operation of electric rolling stock. This article discusses the method of drying wetted insulation by mobile and stationary electric heaters, which are used in the process of repairing traction electric motors of locomotives and electric trains. The problem of operating these installations is their low energy efficiency. With a constant power supply, the heating elements and the fan of the electric heater remain on during the entire drying process of the insulation, which leads to significant energy consumption, and the drying process is recorded by conducting paper workflow, recording the technical condition of the TU-152 locomotive in the log. To eliminate these shortcomings, the authors propose the modernization of the electric heating installation by introducing into it a microprocessor-based system for automatic regulation of the drying process with cloud storage technology. The article presents a block diagram of the proposed automated system, which will implement the three-cycle amplitude-latitude-discontinuous method of energy supply proposed at the FGBOU VO "IrGUPS" in the process of drying the wet insulation of the TED. Currently, cloud storage technologies have found their application in companies of various kinds of activity, it is being actively improved due to the constant increase in the amount of information that needs to be stored or transferred, and in addition, the user can have access to it from anywhere in the world. In recent years, the world has noticeably increased interest in the application of this technology in railway transport. As part of the modernization of the installation, it becomes possible to remotely control its operation, as well as store and process the information received on the drying process of wetted insulation.

    Using the liquid oil-containing waste products of railway depots for heat energy generation

    The used liquid wash solutions utilization problem in railway depots of Russian Federation was overviewed. Postulated, that it is important to solve ecological and energy efficiency problem together on railways. Authors shows, that in this moment level of development and using resource saving technology in railway depots is too low. Economical, juridical and technological aspect of this problem was analyzed. Shows, that in present conditions we need to treat wash solutions in the closed water recycling process. Simultaneously waste products must be concentrated and then used, taking into consideration, that concentrated waste products contains flammable oil-products. Proposed to combust it and generate heat energy. Taking review of oil-containing waste products concentration and combustion methods. Shows, that heat energy can be used for grows up energy efficiency of railway depots. Described theoretical basics, results of carried experiments, and economic effect was estimated. It`s proved, that proposed technology is useful and can be realized. Preferred construction of washing machines and waste treatment facilities are recommended. Ways of next research work are selected and proved.

    Technology for reinforcing the base of the subgrade at rail joints using geotextiles

    This article presents promising and widely used in transport construction methods of earth bed reinforcement with the use of geotextile as a reinforcing and separating layer. It was suggested to lay down geotextile coverings manually in the zones of rail joints of an equalizing span of a continuous-flow track by 6-10 sleepers in each side of the joint, in all, 12-20 sleepers where high-speed and high-speed passenger traffic is expected. Basic technical requirements and restrictions on geometric dimensions for geotextile when reinforcing the main track bed are given. The technology of manual laying of reinforcing geotextiles when a small section of the railway track needs reinforcement during routine maintenance and repair of the railway track is given. The sequence of basic manual laying of geotextile coverings in the technological "windows" is described. Experimentally conducted work on the device coatings of geotextile manually in the areas of rail joints equalizing span of permanent way for 6 sleepers on each side of the junction in the railway sections of the Tashkent railway station (PCH-2). A design for reinforcement of the main ground in the areas of rail joints has been proposed. The basic requirements to quality control of construction works in structures with the use of a layer of geotextile materials are given.

    Analysis of the seasonal dynamics of the indicator of the amount of deviations in rail gauge geometry from the second degree standard on the infrastructure of russian railways, at the network and regional levels

    Purpose. Constructing a model for predicting a quantitative indicator of the pre-discharge state of the upper structure of the track based on a statistical analysis of the seasonal dynamics of this indicator. Forecasting involves identifying bottlenecks for timely corrective action. This approach allows you to refine the construction of algorithms of the functional risk assessment system on the infrastructure of Russian Railways for managing the technical condition of the railway track and safety and is considered as an element of digitalization of the risk assessment of traffic safety in the Railway Infrastructure Directorate. The development is carried out on the basis of accepted existing regulatory documents and classifiers of risk factors operating for the infrastructure management at Russian Railways. Methods. regression analysis, data validation, modeling based on regression analysis. Results. Dependence was identified and a forecast model of the dynamics of the number of deviations of the 2nd degree rail gauge geometry (GRK) was built based on the use of actual data from the automated system Path (APCS P) of Russian Railways. Testing of the approach was carried out on the basis of the Directorate of Infrastructure of the North Caucasus Railway. The identified dependence allows you to give a fairly accurate forecast of the state of traffic safety and the development of GRK deviations on the 2nd degree for use in practice, effective planning of material costs for planned preventive work and overhaul at linear enterprises, on a specific railway adopted for calculation and on the network of Russian Railways. Practical significance. The constructed model allows predicting the intensity of the risk factor on an objective basis of seasonal patterns, as well as the volume of control impacts on the current content of the upper track structure. The presence of such a forecast will make it possible to establish a relationship between the indicator of the dynamics of the number of deviations of the 2nd degree rail gauge geometry, including seasonal dynamics, and the risk factor, that is, the number of GRK deviations of the 3rd degree used in the risk assessment on the infrastructure. The result of this approach is the solution of a system of tasks that affect the values that reflect the level of risks, and as a result, effective management of financial flows for the maintenance of infrastructure, reduction and prevention of traffic safety incidents.

    Track maintenance planning using the data of track measurement cars

    The method and research results of information obtained by track management cars about the track state for planning track repair work to eliminate track defects have been shown.     Statistic methods encapsulation in locomotive service repair depot information net

    The article deals with the locomotive lifecycle problem at vehicle technical maintenance and repairing service. It proposes to encapsulate the statistic methods into the automatic locomotive depot control system basing on the example of management with the minimum stock spare parts level. In such a group of companies as "Locomotive technologies" the efficacy of maintenance and repairing technological processes is improved by creation and implementation of the information management control system "Network diagram" into the locomotive depot service. Its implementation was started in 2016 and should be completed by the end of 2017. In practice methodological approaches of international (ISO) and national (GOST) standards of management quality and reliability, lean manufacturing and statistic methods of management in conditions of locomotive depot service are proposed to be used basing on the principle of "Built-in quality". In this case logical constructions, algorithms and formulas are encapsulated into “Network diagram” software significantly reducing the training level demands of the depot personnel. The article also proposes to control the minimum level of stock spare parts in the locomotive depot in terms of “Network diagram” software through encapsulation of probabilistic-statistical methods of minimum stock calculation according to the data on intensity of parts consumption and the time of their delivery to the depot.
