    Evaluation of dynamic loading of wheel-motor units of electric locomotives 2es6

    The article sets the task of determining the level of dynamic loading in the «trolley-leash-traction motor» subsystem to reduce the dynamic impact in the «locomotive-path» system. The model of vertical vibrations of traction rolling stock, obtained on the basis of the Lagrange equation of the second kind, in the form of a system of fourteen differential equations allows us to estimate the loading of locomotive units in operation, integrated using the MathCAD application package. The approximation of random disturbances using the spectral density of the path irregularity of Professor A. I. Belyaev is chosen as the spectral density of random disturbances. A more detailed design scheme of the crew has been compiled and in order to simplify the calculation within the engineering error, a single-mass discrete model of the path is used. Entering symmetric coordinates allows us to obtain from the original system of differential equations a simplified system with characteristic equations with simple roots, therefore, the natural oscillation frequencies of the bouncing of the body, trolley and wheelset will be determined with minimal error. The transfer function is determined by Kramer's formulas. With the help of a computer, the values are calculated and graphs of the amplitude-frequency characteristics of vertical movements, maximum accelerations of the body, trolley, traction motor and wheelset of the electric locomotive in question are constructed. A comparative analysis of the calculation results and empirical data is carried out. Based on a comparative analysis, it can be argued that the considered mathematical model of vibrations of the electric locomotive 2ES6 «Sinara» is adequate and allows determining the dynamic loading of the locomotive for the entire range of operating speeds. The task of changing the existing design of the suspension system of the traction electric motor of the electric locomotive in question and the mathematical analysis of the vibrations of its nodes in further research is set.

    The new approaches to the problem of the electric power imbalance in train traction research

    In article the issues of electric power imbalance in train traction research are considered, including the method providing an estimation of the contribution of imbalance components to its total value with the possibility of their separation between the participants of the transportation process: the electrification and power supply service, the automatics and telemechanics service, the directorates of locomotive traction and motorized rolling stock. Described method allows in more detail to analyze the factors that affected the change in the components of imbalance and further develop organizational and technical measures to reduce it.

    Determination of electric rolling stock operational indicators optimal values according to the criterion of energy efficiency

    The article deals with the issue of improving the energy efficiency of DC and AC electric locomotives operated at the enterprises of JSC “Russian Railways». The main goals and objectives of the development program and energy strategy of JSC «Russian Railways» are analyzed and briefly considered. In accordance with these tasks, the relevance of scientific research in the field of improving the energy efficiency of electric locomotives is substantiated. The current data on traction rolling stock, on modern traction resource management systems and on Russian and foreign scientific research in the field of energy efficiency are analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it was found that most of the studies are aimed at studying the influence of key operational factors on energy efficiency indicators, so, in this case, on the specific power consumption for train traction. However, the reverse question has been poorly studied - the selection of the train mass and the technical speed on the basis of a preliminary assessment of the specific power consumption for train traction by analyzing the statistical data of trips on a certain section of the railway. The purpose of this study is to assess the possibility and develop a method for determining the optimal values of the key parameters of the operation of electric freight locomotives in order to achieve maximum operational efficiency in relation to them according to the criterion of energy efficiency. Two models were created in the program «Complex of calculations of traction power supply» (CORTES) - for DC and AC electric locomotives, describing the dependence of the energy efficiency indicator (specific power consumption for train traction) on operational indicators, such as the train mass and the technical speed. The initial data for further modeling were obtained by modeling trips on a conditional site.

    Formation of a mathematical model of electric locomotives 2es6 vertical oscillations taking into account the dynamics wheel-motor units

    The article presents an analysis of the failures of the mechanical components of the mainline electric locomotives 2ES6 «Sinara» in operation at the landfill of the West Siberian Railway, the causes and consequences of failures of the most vulnerable nodes are determined. The analysis of failures of the mechanical components showed that a significant share of them falls on the components of the wheel-motor unit of the locomotive. The analysis of the design features of the crew part is carried out. The main structural difference of suspension is the absence of leaf springs in the axle box stage, which were widely used on electric locomotives of previous generations. In the body stage, helical springs (Flexicoil) are used instead of the cradle suspension. The connection of the traction motor with the trolley frame is a pendulum. The suspension of the traction motor to the trolley frame is carried out through a leash. When considering the vibrations of railway carriages, it is customary to represent the locomotive and the track as a single mechanical system. The task of forming a mathematical model of the «electric locomotive - path» system is set and a mathematical model of vertical vibrations of an electric locomotive is formed taking into account the dynamics of wheel-motor blocks based on the Lagrange equation of the second kind in the form of a matrix equation, which allows us to assess the loading of mechanical components in operation. The mathematical model represents a system of differential equations in which six equations determine the fluctuations of the bouncing and galloping of the body and trolleys, four - the galloping of wheel-motor blocks, four - the bouncing of wheel pairs together with the reduced mass of the track. The obtained mathematical model makes it possible to determine the level of dynamic loading of the components of the mechanical part of the electric locomotive 2ES6 «Sinara» by integrating the matrix equation using the MathCAD application package.

    Innovative method of determining the coefficient of friction in the «pad - wheel» system

    In this article, the currently existing methods for determining such a technical parameter as the sliding friction coefficient were considered. The coefficient of friction is one of the main parameters characterizing the operation of tribological pairs of any engineering system. Stable and efficient operation of tribological pairs in such systems, along with high strength and fatigue characteristics, are not only the basis of safety, but also a promising direction in terms of economic benefits in the design and operation of various devices and systems. Accordingly, this area of research is very relevant for the railway industry, and for railway rolling stock in particular. This is caused by a large number of friction pairs in different nodes of passenger and freight cars, locomotives, ensuring safe and uninterrupted movement of rolling stock as a whole on iron drogs. Tribological processes are important both directly during movement and during braking processes. In this matter, the factor of determining and analyzing the sliding friction coefficient comes to the fore. One of these friction pairs is the «pad-wheel» system, which is the executive body of the braking system of a railway train. Optimization of contact in this system is one of the determining factors for the growth of braking efficiency during braking, increasing the working life of the elements of the friction pair, reducing the likelihood of defects. The search for new approaches to the study of friction issues is a direct catalyst for scientific and technological progress in the engineering industry.

    The technology of electricity accounting on the rolling stock with the use of information-measuring complexes and technical requirements for such complexes

    The article analyzes the current state of electricity measuring on the electric rolling stock. The main shortcomings of the existing electric power measuring systems for train traction are shown. The technical requirements for information-measuring systems of electricity accounting on electric rolling stock are presented. The technology of electricity accounting on the rolling stock with the use of information-measuring complexes and the procedure for processing the measurement results are described. The minimum required list of fixing parameters during the trip is determined. The procedure for calculating the electric power consumption of electric rolling stock within the boundaries of an arbitrary electricity metering zone is given. The prospects of application of the proposed developments on the railway network are considered to provide monitoring of the transportation process energy efficiency.

    Algorithm for joint traction and electric calculations of traction power supply system with considering the parameters of railway sections and training situation

    Paper is devoted to the development of an improved algorithm for calculating the traction power supply system for further practical implementation in order to improve the accuracy of calculations of the traction power supply system by combining traction and electrical calculations with considering the current train situation. The relevance of the task is due to the need to improve the accuracy of calculations of throughput and carrying capacity under the conditions of power supply devices with considering the criteria for energy efficiency of the transportation process. The available solutions to this problem in the form of ready-made software systems and algorithms are considered. A numerical experiment was carried out for the DC section in the program "Complex of calculations for traction power supply", which showed that the relative error that determines the convergence of traction and electrical calculations is from 1.6 % to 5.1 %. The main reason for the discrepancy is the insufficiently correct calculation of the voltage at the current collector of the electric rolling stock. An improved algorithm for calculating the traction power supply system is proposed. The distinguishing feature of this algorithm is the implementation of a clarifying full traction calculation before compiling instant schemes and instant electric and traction calculations. As a result of the research, a general algorithm for joint traction and electrical calculations with considering the parameters of railway sections and the current training situation has been developed,. A conclusion about the advantages of the proposed algorithm and promising directions for further research is made.

    Logistics solutions for the regulation of empty car traffic on the eastern railway polygon

    The national program of socio-economic development of the Far East in the period to 2024 and a term until 2035 [1], approved September 24, 2020, provides for the modernization of the transport infrastructure of the Eastern site of "Russian Railways", in 2021 carrying capacity which should reach 144 million tons and by 2025, capacity will be increased to 182 million tons. In addition, the program provides for the implementation of measures to increase production capacity of the far Eastern seaports and development activities in the Arctic region and the Northern sea route as competitive Intercontinental transport corridor for cargo between the ports of the Asia-Pacific region and the European Union. to ensure the passage of promising volumes of cargo traffic, it is necessary to resolve issues that hinder the effective functioning of the far eastern transport hubs. Currently, the railway infrastructure of transport hubs has a maximum load. In 2018, the unloading of cars that arrived as part of block trains at the port stations of the Far Eastern Railway amounted to 994.46 thousand cars, while loading amounted to 426.88 thousand cars. Such a disparity in the volume of loading and unloading of goods leads to the accumulation of a large number of empty rolling stock at the port stations of the Eastern Polygon of railways, which must be sent for loading at the stations of the western direction. the released rolling stock occupies the tracks of the station and the port, thereby making it difficult to perform shunting work and limiting the station's ability to receive loaded cars. The purpose of this study is to develop proposals for the organization of work with empty car traffic at the eastern railway landfill. This requires to solve the following tasks: to analyze the workloads of the stations and the far Eastern sea ports interaction technology to all the traders in the transportation process, to develop actions on the organization of work of the regional logistics center with the empty wagons, to determine the economic efficiency of the activities. An important areas of work of the regional logistics center of the Far Eastern Railway is to improve the technology of working with the released rolling stock and the organization of a transport and logistics system for the accelerated return of empty gondola cars to the loading station. This paper presents an organizational scheme of interaction between rolling stock operators and management units of Russian Railways to regulate the movement of empty rolling stock. To improve the efficiency of operating the car fleet, it is necessary to organize an operational exchange of information between various owners of rolling stock, the regional logistics center of the Eastern polygon and the unloading station, which should consolidate the car traffic to form a special empty route. the conclusion of the study is to determine the potential economic efficiency of reducing the turnover of block train cars in the direction of «nakhodka-vostochnaya station-loading stations of the east siberian, west siberian and krasnoyarsk railways».

    Technological solutions for managing loaded and empty runs

    The article deals measures to improve the efficiency of using empty cars on the example of the East Siberian railway. The problem of the mechanism for managing cargo and empty runs has been identified. It is necessary to create the system for managing empty rolling stock. The authors consider the technology of working with the company's empty car fleet and the logistics of rolling stock through the Taishet station of the East Siberian railway. The relevance of the goal is the insufficiently developed transport and logistics infrastructure of the region located at the intersection of large transport flows, high costs of logistics operators for the empty tariff. Taking into account the prospects for the development of the station's transport and logistics infrastructure in accordance with the long-term development program of Russian Railways, there are opportunities to increase the range of types of rolling stock and cargo, including container ones. This technology, with timely provision of empty rolling stock for stations, will significantly increase the level of loading and unloading and routing of incoming empty cars. The practical significance of the considered measures is the possibility of reducing the load of some stations, reducing empty flights of rolling stock, increasing the profitability of transportation and the efficiency of using rolling stock by reducing its turnover. In General, for the network, the results will increase the capacity and transit volumes of container traffic from China to the Russian Federation, and stimulate the development of the transport business.

    Passenger comfort as a track and rolling stock interaction indicator

    The article deals with the issue of the interaction of the track and rolling stock and the relationship of factors affecting the comfort of passengers. Examples of passenger comfort indicators are given and possible causes of deviations in the track geometry are considered. The results of experimental trips are analyzed and the data obtained by standard diagnostic tools are presented. Natural irregularities in the plan and profile were constructed in the analyzed areas where comfort indicators were exceeded. The data presented demonstrate the use of an additional indicator of the interaction of the track and rolling stock, which is advisable to take into account to identify deviations in the geometry of the track gauge when carrying out work on the current maintenance of the track, since there are irregularities or combinations of irregularities in the track that have an increased dynamic impact. It is worth noting that currently not all irregularities are registered, and accordingly such irregularities are not eliminated. Using the «passenger comfort» indicator calculated from the accelerations occurring in the elements of the rolling stock, it is possible to determine the places and deviations of the geometry of the track gauge that affect the dynamic characteristics of the rolling stock, causing increased comfort indicators.

    Assessment of the noise impact of rolling stock on the residential area

    The article shows the relevance of the problem of noise pollution of the environment by railway transport. The purpose of the research is to assess by calculation and instrumental methods the compliance of the existing noise levels in the residential area near the railway tracks with sanitary standards, to propose a set of noise protection measures and to substantiate their acoustic efficiency. The applied methods for measuring and calculating the equivalent and maximum noise levels of the rolling stock comply with the requirements of regulatory documents. The authors took into account the features of the propagation and shielding of sound waves in the existing residential area, background noise, and the traffic intensity of trains of various categories. The results of measurements, calculations and estimates of the noise generated by the rolling stock in the residential area in Omsk are presented. A significant excess of the maximum permissible equivalent and maximum noise levels in residential areas has been established. Comparison of the calculated and measured noise values, taking into account the standard uncertainty of the calculation methods and the expanded measurement uncertainty, showed quite satisfactory convergence of the results obtained and confirmed a significant excess of the sanitary noise standards. A set of measures is proposed to reduce the noise of railway rolling stock at the source of its occurrence and on the path of its propagation in the existing residential area. The dimensions of the embankments of the two sections of the railway tracks allow the installation of screens of low height up to 38 cm, the geometry of which is designed so that, in terms of reflection of the noise emitted by the rolling stock, they are at least equivalent to a standard noise protection wall 2 m high. For the track section located in the recess, it is proposed to install a noise barrier 6 m high and at least 1 km long. Its acoustic efficiency was calculated.

    Study of the traction current distribution along the panhead of the rolling stock pantograph in the motion mode

    Resistive heating of the pantograph head due to the flow of traction current through the conductive elements of the upper node, has an uneven distribution along the frame structure and depends on the location of the contact wire on the insert. The aim of the work is to develop a mathematical model for calculating power losses in the pantograph panhead, allowing to estimate its value, taking into account the zigzag of the contact wire during the movement of electric rolling stock. The subject of the study is the pantograph panhead. The paper gives an example of calculating the frame skid of a pantograph equipped with carbon strips. Experimental studies of the current distribution over the shunts of the panhead depending on the position of the contact wire were carried out in February 2021 in the laboratory "Designs of contact networks, power lines and current collection devices" using a complex for testing current collection devices. The calculation of the heating power of the panhead is determined by the Joule-Lenz law. The results of the calculation showed that the maximum heating power is observed when the contact wire is in the middle of the panhead, while the places of the greatest losses located along its edges are above the places where the shunts are attached. The model makes it possible to obtain a functional dependence of the heating value along the panhead. The obtained results of the skid heating power distribution make it possible to supplement the complex model of the thermal state of the pantograph developed at the Omsk State Transport University with the participation of the authors of the article. The versatility of the developed model makes it possible to investigate various zigzags of the contact wire and evaluate the effect on the distribution of traction current along the panhead, depending on the location of the shunts and their number.

    Asthigmatic model of magnetoinduction signal of rolling stock axis of railway transport based on discrete approach

    To improve the accuracy of the diagnosis of the technical condition of rolling stock, it is necessary to develop new algorithms for the digital processing of signals coming from sensors at the time of the passage of the axes of wheeled pairs of wagon carts during the uniform movement of the train on the straight section of the railway track. The use of modern mathematical application software packages to model digital-based data processing algorithms reduces the cost and time of developing automated systems to diagnose the technical condition of the rolling stock of railways. To assess the accuracy of the fixation by the magneto-induction sensor of the moment of passage of wheel pairs axly, an asthigmatic model is proposed, allowing to investigate not only the energy properties of the sensor, but also the shape of the output signal, taking into account the real dimensions of its magnetic core.     Improvement of the mathematical model of the delivery time of wagonload cargo by rail

    The method of determining the costs of technological time of processing trains en route has been improved, taking into account the duration of all operations performed by wagons at stations for the effective organization of freight transportation technology on railway transport. A model for calculating the delivery time of goods has been developed to correctly determine the time spent by loaded wagons en route. A method has been developed for determining the time spent on technological operations at stations and the delivery time of goods. The developed method allows you to determine and plan in advance the amount of work that will be performed at the stations. The indicators affecting the duration of the time of delivery of the cargo are given. An improved formula for determining the delivery time of goods by rail is recommended. The article proposes a technology for calculating the daily mileage rate of wagon shipments, depending on the technological operations performed with wagons at stations and the distance of transportation. The reliability of the research results is confirmed by the use of modern calculation methods. Theoretical studies were conducted on the basis of the laws of mathematical statistics. The scientific significance of the results obtained is characterized by the improvement of methods for determining the costs of the technological time of processing trains and the timing of cargo delivery based on the systematization of conditionally constant and random factors affecting the transportation process on railway transport.

    In article the solution of a task of the organization of operational monitoring of elements of the rolling stock on the basis of the methods of statistical definition of quality which were widely used in the analysis of defects of the current production is considered. The problem is solved on the example of carrying out control and diagnostic operations by results of which realization the conclusion about technical condition of elements of the rolling stock becomes. The approach offered in article allows to consider a posteriori information and by that to optimize the volume of the carried-out works. The received results can be used at the solution of a complex of tasks of decrease in resource intensity of system of repair and the maintenance of the rolling stock.
