    Prerequisites for improving the methodology for rationing fuel consumption for maneuvering and economic traffic using machine learning models

    Measures to normalize the consumption of diesel fuel for the operation of shunting locomotives are an integral part of the efficiency of the use of traction rolling stock. Due to the presence of problems in the formation of the fuel consumption rate, such as the performance of the shunting locomotive, the loading and technical condition of the diesel generator set, the operating conditions of locomotives, it is necessary to improve the existing fuel consumption rate determining methodology. The article presents the results of studies of the operating modes of shunting locomotives, the parameters of the spread of the values of the operating time of the diesel generator set in the load mode for shunting locomotives of the TEM2 and TEM18DM series are given. A mathematical model based on the bases of machine learning models is proposed, taking into account the degree of loading of the diesel generator set and the technical and economic characteristics of the locomotive series. The task of the proposed model is to determine the fuel consumption of a locomotive by an iterative calculation method, where the input parameters of the model are the performance indicators of the locomotive. It is established that the method of forming the fuel consumption rate for performing shunting operations should take into account the degree of loading of the diesel generator set and the technical and economic characteristics of the locomotive series. According to the results of the implementation of the proposed model for establishing specific fuel consumption rates for the studied locomotives based on the results of their operation, the average indicators of specific fuel consumption by locomotives by the positions of the driver's controller are obtained. The proposed method allows us to take into account the actual degree of loading of the diesel generator set and establish the correct fuel consumption rate for a certain period of operation of the locomotive, which represents the practical significance of the work. The presented research results are the beginning of work on the development of an intelligent system for diesel fuel rate rationing for the operation of shunting locomotives.

    Study of efficiency oscillating regimes in energy supply infrared technology in capsulating winding insulation repair of electrical motors of locomotives

    The article is devoted to continue presenting the results of experimental studies on the identifi-cation of rational modes of IR energy supply in encapsulation technology insulation windings of electric machines (EM) of traction rolling stock (TPS). In this paper, published the results of com-paring the effectiveness of the use of various oscillatory modes of infrared (IR) energy supply in the process of winding insulation encapsulation the frontal parts armature winding of the traction mo-tor type NB-514B electric locomotives series "Ermak" on the process plant at their depot and fac-tory repair. In studies to identify rational oscillating modes IR energy supply option duty cycle remained unchanged for the existing design of the generator of heat radiation technological installation, and changed only option cyclical, characterized by changing the speed of rotation of the armature trac-tion motor on the plant corresponding to 5, 25 and 50 Hz when the drive installation works from the frequency converter. The process of encapsulation was carried out first only short-wavelength radiation generated incoherent halogen emitters, then only at medium-wavelength radiation generated pulse ceramic radiators, and finally - with alternating heating medium short- and medium-wavelength radiation, i.e. with these two types of emitters in the spectral-oscillating mode IR energy, on which is currently obtained patent for the invention. For comparability of experimental studies same dose irradiation of segments frontal part of the armature windings of the traction motor type NB-514B electric lo-comotives «Ermak». Objective factors when comparing encapsulation modes to identify the most efficient are pa-rameters such as dielectric strength (the value of the breakdown voltage insulating tape) and ce-menting capacity.

    New paradigm of kinematics «the wheel - the rail»

    Subject of researches is determination and the justification of mathematical characteristics of motion of a railway wheel adequately reflecting the gear of its interaction with a rail. The activity purpose is adaptation of fundamental positions of the cycloidal curves reflecting motion of a circle to motion of conditional points of topological circles of section of a shroud of a railway wheel, having a difficult structure. The activity methodology is constructed on study and systematisation of fundamental investigations in the field of geometry, mathematics and mechanics of idealised motion of a circle in which basis mathematical properties of cycloidal curves are put. The model of motion of a wheel of a railway mounted axle (with immovable wheels on an axis) in which basis are put kinematic and mechanical properties golonomnykh systems is fetched. Following general golonomnykh, fundamental mathematical properties of system, analytical relations and ratio of kinematic parametres of a forward speed of railway vehicles and speed of interaction of wheels with rails which allow to supplement methodology of thrust calculations at us and in other countries are installed. By the current moment time in domestic practice use tens various formulas which actuate a component of linear speed of motion, instead of speed of interaction of wheels with rails, taking into account their physical and geometric parametres. Linear (translational) speed of motion of a wheel not absolutely adequately reflects the gear of interaction of wheels of railway vehicles with rails. The fundamental theory of cycloidal curves gives the chance is proved to normalise analytically speed motion of railway vehicles of various types, to designers and founders it a priori to form constructional and technology - economic characteristics warranting reliability, life and overall performance of the equipment dolly parts, reducing risk of a traffic security of trains.

    Research of pantograph panhead heating temperature and its reduction methods

    The heating of the pantograph panhead of an electric rolling stock is caused by the removal of the traction electric current. The increase in temperature is due to the characteristics of the catenary and conductive materials of the suspension and current collector. Current collection low quality also leads to overheating of contact materials and limits the passage of the maximum permissible long-time current when the electric locomotive moves. The uneven distribution of temperature leads to local points of overheating and an inefficient use of the surface of the contact strips. The presented graphs of the density distribution of the position of the contact wire in the plan indicate their dependence on the profile of the path section and the type of the catenary, which determine the heat distribution along the panhead. The proposed methodology of the factor analysis of the effect on the current collector's panhead heating makes it possible to determine the causes of its uneven heating and propose measures to reduce the share of influence of each factors and to provide an increase in the removal of the traction current.

    Application models of the transverse oscillation of tensional member for calculation of tension wires contact network

    The article considers a suitability of mathematical model of stretched rod to determine the relationship of the parameters oscillations of the contact wires and their tension. This model allows you to determine the tension by the frequency oscillations of the contact wire obtained after the passage of the current collector. In this case, the speed of the electric rolling stock will not affect the frequency of the damped oscillations. Thanks to the proposed model, the labor intensity is reduced of determining the tension of wires without interruptions in the movement of trains is reduced and there is an opportunity of operational monitoring of the state of the contact suspension remotely.

    Basis of local life extension method insulation of electric machines of locomotives thermal radiation

    The main damaged knot of traction electric motors of a traction rolling stock is isolation, namely in the field of the basis of front part. The imperfect system of isolation in face part of front windings results in humidity. Also the increased intensity in this zone is the reason of low reliability.     Analysis of corrosion process in reinforced concrete structures with strength parameters estimation

    Performance features asynchronous electric locomotive auxiliary machines ac on east siberian line

    This article analyzes the conditions of work of asynchronous auxiliary machines (AVM) electric AC, mainly operated on the network of the East-Siberian railway. Presented the experimental data on the dependence of the motor phase currents ANE 225 locomotive VL 85 on the value of the supply voltage, the duration of start - MC with an induction motor, depending on the voltage of contact network, change the moment of resistance of the compressor depending on the air temperature.     Analysis of change of pressure in the main reservesof locomotive based on the results of train tests

    The subject of this article is the pressure in the main reservoir of the locomotive. The purpose of the study is to obtain and analyze unique data on pressure reduction in the main reservoir of the locomotive. When carrying out train tests developed by the author of the train brake diagnostic system, pressure changes in the main reservoir of the locomotive were obtained depending on the driver's control effects in real time. This was achieved by installing a sensor measuring the pressure in the nutrient line of the locomotive and processing data using the software and hardware complex diagnostics system for the brake network of the train. In work methods of the mathematical analysis, a method of experiment, an analytical method are applied. As a result of the work, pressure reduction curves are described in accordance with the processes occurring in the main tanks of the locomotive during train operation. An explanation of the flow of pneumatic processes in accordance with the specifics of the braking equipment of the rolling stock of railways. An experiment was carried out to measure the density of the brake network of a train by a machinist and a system for diagnosing the brake network of a train, and the convergence of results was presented. Also, quantitative indicators of the measurement rate by the standard and proposed method are determined. The research results were applied to improve the methods and means of diagnosing the brake network of a train, modeling pneumatic processes of the train's brake system. Pressure reduction curves have their own gas-dynamic nature, which allows to determine the mode of operation of the braking system, as well as diagnose faults in the brake network of the train, such as shutting off end valves, leaks along the way.

    Theoretical study of electromagnetic processes inverter based on thyristors and igbt-transistors of an electric train of an alternating current in the mode of regenerative braking

    In this article, the authors have studied the electromagnetic processes of an inverter based on thyristors and IGBT transistors of an AC electric train in the regenerative braking mode. To accomplish this task, a method was used to compose instantaneous replacement schemes and systems of differential equations corresponding to a certain time interval of the rectified voltage diagram and the currents of the inverter arms. On the basis of the study were given the disadvantages of thyristor inverter and the advantages of transistor.

    Improving of test schemes for induction traction motors using the method of mutual load

    The article analyzes the test schemes of induction traction motors by the mutual load method using DC generators as load machines and powered by a three-phase AC network with a frequency of 50 Hz. Features of functioning of each of the given schemes of mutual loading are considered. The disadvantages of these schemes are noted, due to the presence of excess equipment or the lack of short-circuit protection in the anchor circuit of the load generator and the complexity of its connection to the DC link. The scheme developed by the authors is proposed, devoid of the noted disadvantages of the known schemes and combining all their advantages, which is the simplest both in the power part and in controlling the process of connecting the armature winding to the DC link of a frequency Converter. A mathematical model of a test system consisting of an induction traction motor, a DC load generator and a two-link static frequency Converter is presented. The mathematical model of this test system is made up of parts corresponding to its individual elements. The presented mathematical model makes it possible to calculate the static and dynamic operating modes of the proposed scheme at the stage of development of an electrical complex for testing induction traction motors. Recommendations on the implementation of developments in the operation of induction traction motors in locomotive repair depots are given. The expediency of implementing the results of work in organizations-developers of test stations for induction traction motors is also noted.

    Energy efficiency of traction drive of railway road electric locomotives

    The subject of the study is energy efficiency of traction power supply system and traction electric drive of electric locomotives. The article is scientifically based on the assessment of the energy efficiency of the mutually connected system of electric traction of trains. The study is aimed at solving problems on reduction of voltage losses in the contact system, active power in the contact system and traction electric drive of electric locomotives. This is possible due to the full and continuous use of the electrical potential of the power supply system. The research methodology is based on the law of energy preservation, mathematical modeling of the energy process and spectral analysis of voltage and current on the current collector of the electric locomotive. Analytically and by results of calculation it has been proved that significant losses of voltage, active power in the contact system, traction electric drive of electric locomotives are caused by unsatisfactory operation of power regulators and mismatch of voltage level in the contact power network, which is necessary for realization of heavy and high-speed driving of trains. In order to eliminate the negative effect of the inductive coupling of AC traction power supply on the energy efficiency and speed of trains, it is proposed to increase the voltage in the DC contact system and develop power regulators of electric locomotives. Mathematical model of DC electric traction system shows possibilities of reduction of electric energy losses and increase of movement speed due to application of electric semiconductor variator for matching of high voltage in contact system with voltage of traction electric motors of electric locomotive.

    Investigation of the process of contactless measurement of the geometric parameters of the rolling surface of the wheelset of a wagon during planned types of repair

    The subject of the study is the process of applying optical technologies for non-contact measurements of geometric parameters of a wagon wheelset during operation and repair. The purpose of the study is to study the methods of field testing of technologies for controlling the geometric parameters of car parts using an optical rangefinder, with mutual verification of the results obtained using numerical modeling using three-dimensional digital models of objects and measuring instruments. As a result of the study, experimental and calculated dependences of the optical sensor readings were obtained during the change in the relative position of the measuring object (wheelset) and the rangefinder. Two laser triangulation rangefinders were used for field tests. For numerical simulation, a program was created that allows generating a three-dimensional model of the rolling surface of a wheelset consisting of a set of points belonging to the surface of rotation. The simulation consists in finding the intersection points of a line defined using the coordinates of the point of the radiation source in space and the guiding vector with the model of the skating surface. After the calculations, the result is given in the form of a table with calculated ranges and visualized as projections of a three-dimensional wire model of a wheel and a rangefinder beam. Visualization of the numerical modeling process is important to avoid misinterpretation of the calculation results and to verify compliance with the physical meaning of the numerical data obtained during modeling. Comparison of graphs shows the convergence of the results and sufficient accuracy of numerical models and techniques that can be used in the future to plan full-scale tests of the designed techniques and equipment for dimensional control of railway car parts.

    Article is devoted to settlement pilot studies of air-gas system of the diesel locomotive improved by a cyclone-electrofilter. The main attention is paid to determination of the overall performance, the developed air-gas system. The mathematical model of gasdynamic processes of air-gas system which allows to estimate influence of a geometrical configuration and electro-dynamic impacts on process of purification of the fulfilled gases from firm soot is constructed. Comparison of the obtained settlement data with experimental is carried out.

    The increase of the diesel locomotive engines cylinder heads durability

    The technical condition of the cylinder-piston group has significant effect on the reliable operation of the diesel locomotive engines. The most susceptible to the premature failure is the head of cylinders. It is caused by the heat release rate of the combustion chamber detail. The increase of the diesel locomotive engines cylinder heads durability in operation causes the relevance of the researches. In the article the set of the factors influencing on the diesel locomotive engine cylinder heads durability is defined, their main groups and subgroups are found. In the offered classification the subjective factors which directly depend on the human activity are dominated. It is possible to reduce the influence of the subjective factors by means of the human activity wrong solutions reduction while operating and repairing locomotives. The measures that improve diesel locomotive engine operation and positively affect the reliability of the cylinder heads are considered. Simple in implementation methods to extend the service life of the cylinder-piston group are offered. They are decreasing temperatures gradient during the post-stopping period of the power point and upgrading cooling system.
